surprised too because MM talked about in an interview that he was getting used to his "full" kit for the NA tour, and specifically mentioned the cowbells in BAI.

so bummed no BAI, but pretty fantastic setlist.

You guys do realize that there will be other shows, and that they can still play Breaking All Illusions right?

Yeah kinda weird.

It would have been nice if they took out Build Me Up & Forsaken and add in Breaking All Illusions

Set is over.

Well, I guess that BAI would have been too good to be true but that doesn't mean it isn't going to appear on any setlist, we'll just have to wait and see.

Thanx James and Fiery Winds for the updates!

It's not guaranteed for any one show though. It's such a wonderful song that everyone should get to experience live.

I'm just saying, I hope you guys get it, but I don't get why you would be upset if they don't play it because it's still a really badass set.

Whoops I may not have won. I am tied with a few other people at 12 songs correct.

It's not that I'd leave the concert upset. It's that I'd leave the concert multitudes happier if they played it.

Good set list overall.  It doesn't have any major heavy hitters from previous albums, but the acoustic stuff is great, and you can't argue with five songs from the new album.  Odds are, assuming that this is THE set list for the current U.S. tour, that the other new ones will likely appear on set lists in Europe or if they do another U.S. leg next year.

This.

Also I am a bit baffled that they didn't play it since BAI seems to be widely regarded as the best and most epic song on the album, so I kinda took it for granted that they would play it in the end (like with ITNOG on ToT tour, Octavarium on 8VM tour and Count of Tuscany on BC&SL tour).

But whatever, I'm still looking forward to a great concert next weekend!  :metal

Would have assumed BAI would have been a staple song for every show. A perfect closer. Quite stunned they left it out considering the number of new songs they played and the feedback on that song. God I hope they play it in Toronto.

I'm not stunned or surprised or shocked or disappointed or baffled or dazed or confused they didn't play BAI by the time James posted they played Outcry it was already a record for amount of new songs per show compared with the last 2 tours at least.

Good set, although I would replace the drum solo and BMUBMD with Breaking All Illusions and Forsaken with Wither. I'm surprised (but not disappointed) at the lack of BC&SL; it seems weird that they didn't include anything from their highest charting release in the US. I wonder if this tells something about the band's opinion on that album...

Dude, your work on BTS was breathtaking,  nothing less, especially when the fin cut underneath him, that was awesome.  And if you did the opening vid too, I want to have your babies.

Well..... A solid setlist.  I honestly thought they'd play the "Big 3".... BITS, Outcry, and BAI.  What I'm thinking now is that tomorrow night we may get BAI instead of Outcry.  UAGM as an encore.....I dunno...  Love the song but it's a semi-epic in my mind, and a opener not a closer.  I'm going back to the thread I posted a month or so ago, Drum solo vs. Song.  I'd happily trade the drum solo and say... Forsaken, for BAI.  Any which way, like Lonestar said, it'll be an awesome show, and I'll leave ecstatic... but I'm greedy....LOL.
