I used to do a lot of model train stuff when I was a kid and I currently build R/C cars. That's about it.

These particular trucks, the neighbors don't have much of a problem with seeing as they are all lipo powered...l but my gas powered trucks used to drive them bat shit crazy. Every one pictured above, with the exception of the orange and silver, was used strictly for competition purposes only.

Believe me, you probably have way more talent than I do. My talent is music and writing. I tried to draw or do any visual art at all, and failed completely every time.

Sad really, I have some cool ideas for paintings that I wish I could do.

I have some advice, but I'm not very good at explaining things with words. I'm much better with images. I would recommend starting with the figure, or body, before thinking about the outfit. If you want the body to show off the fashion in a particular way, you need the stance to be spot on. Then, find where the clothes hang. Let gravity work with the idea. Then, sketch as best you can.

It's as good as I got, and it pretty much sucks. If I were you, just keep trying until something magical happens.

Not familiar with the Whitby Regatta.  As an American, the only main "regatta" I'm personally familiar with is a Cub Scout event with handmade pinewood boats about 6" long powered only by lung-power.

But looks like a good time nonetheless.
