I'm glad I'm not the only one still curious about that.
Only King could mis-spell a LETTER.
Yep. I think the only party in the MP/DT situation that hasn't moved on is DTF.

I honestly had to scroll back a couple pages to remember who he was. Do you think he's ever coming back?

Ali, you should paint for fun. Painting for crap isn't nearly as much fun. But on a serious note, who says you have to paint literal work? abstract is just as mesmerizing.

Sorry, by 'paint for crap' I meant that I can't paint,  it seems to be bit of a english/northern phrase :) I have to say that I've never really tried abstract work before, I don't really get the time, especially using a medium other than my tablet!

Abstract is hella fun. Next time you get a chance, draw or construct something random. Doesn't have to make sense in the beginning. Once you have the basic structure, you can create anything from it. For example.

SDOfijawe9rggvsoirngf.

SD Of i jaw e 9 rg gv so i rn gf.

SAD of I jaw enter 9 rage grave so i ran girlfriend.

Sad to say, of course I knew him. I always knew him. My jaw dropped when I entered the room and found his body. He was stabbed nine times. I flipped. I went into a rage that night. It was unforgivable what she did to him. Now, here at his grave, I knew I couldn't take it anymore. So I ran. I knew his girlfriend would come looking for me.

It's all about letting the subconscious take the wheel.

I'm not as good of an artist as many of you. But every year my work holds a pumpkin decorating contest.

Here's an album cover I finished this evening for a friend of mine.

(Cecelia, I've got your thing all drawn out, I'm going to paint it over the next few days, so it should be done soon. I hope you will like).

Well, the previous stuff done in this project is ambient noise/drone, but this album is going to have some prog influences as well as east Asian/middle-eastern and Indian influences too. The few tracks I've heard of it are pretty hard to describe.

I like it.
To me, it represents the mind in search of answers but arriving to find more confusion and questions than originally perceived. A man atop a cliff's edge only gets there by travel. In one's travels, they search for knowledge, truth, and the answers to any questions, however intricate or simple, they may have. Now we find our traveler with a clear vision of muck and opacity. We merely see the tip of the iceberg, or mountains, if you will. It gives a little push to dig deeper but ultimately finding nothing we didn't know before. It's an urge to push.
I kinda want to push him off the ledge.
With technique in mind, it's pretty good. Very Rococco in color and flair. The use of neutrals make it gritty enough for me to like. Just work on your definition on form and space and you've really got something.

Thanks man. I've never been the best at voicing my opinion or analysis about anything other art. Hell, try asking me about the weather and I'll say, "It' looks blue outside"...yeah.
But thanks anyway. Any more pixel art on the horizon?

Here's a riddle disguised as a poem that I wrote:

They won't even talk to me
But at least I have you
It is too heavy a price
But I'll pay it for you
And before I lay down tonight
You'll bring me a euphoria I am all too familiar with
And I'll hate myself for this again
But, I'll rest easy
Because of you

Yes sir, I'm currently working on a large-ish piece for Secret Santa over at another forum I visit. I'll post it when the gifts are given out! I also have a few other paintings I need to get good pictures of. Along with that, I'm working on my painting final for this semester at the moment, which I am really looking forward to finishing. Lots of stuff on the horizon.

If memory serves me correctly, that is "Wanderer On The Mists" or something like that, am I correct? I recognize it. Beautifully done, I really like it.

Wanderer Above the Sea of Fog is the name, but congratulations on having awesome painting taste, I absolutely love the original. And thank you! :D

I really love this new laptop, but I did something for my Secret Santa today on Photoshop, and what should have been a half an hour to an hour long job ended up taking me 2 hours because my Graphics tablet was being painfully laggy. Updated the driver, but I haven't tried it out again yet, hoping for the best! If not, I may just buy a new one, I've had this one for almost two years now and the poor thing's beginning to show its age.

Great composition. Good choice of objects, especially the conch. Was this set up in the art classroom, or was this of your own design?

Also, I made something! (Two things actually)
I hope you like collages.

As Heretic said, that last collage is radular.

Also Heretic, those are beautiful paintings! Have you been working any more pixel pieces as of late?  I'm going to jump back in after taking another extended break for school and work and having an artists block.
