My new computer rig!

Hey guys,

This is more of a showing off thread if I might say so myself :P

I got my new computer today, it was custom built by PC Specialist (they're pretty cool), i7 Processor, 2GB AMD Radeon Graphics, 8gb RAM, lots of other stuff. But most importantly, a surround sound system which is freaking sweet! I'm currently blasting out some Iced Earth, and dear god it sounds so much better on this computer compared to my previous Laptop (which I'm donating to my mother :P ).

Nice  :metal I just upgraded myself a couple months ago and got something rather similar to your setup, with the exception of the processor (i5-2500k compared to your i7). I take it your graphics card is a 6900 series?

And I would love to get a surround sound setup on here, but I don't think it would be too feasible with the size/shape of my room :(

I just don't understand what they were trying to achieve with any part of the song, either individually or as a whole. You know what? It's the Platypus of Dream Theater songs. That bill doesn't go with that tail, or that strange little furry body, or those webbed feet, and oh god why does it have venomous spurs!? And then you find out it lays eggs too. The difference is that the Platypus is somehow functional despite being a crazy mishmash or leftover animal pieces

Get another 8gb of RAM and then have a ram drive :)

I need to do some serious upgrading to my work computer, I have another monitor I need to wire up.
