Probably the hardest pick thus far.  There were five or so Zeppelin songs that could easily make the list any given day.  This particular day it was HMMT.

Jesus Christ himself* comes down amidst a choir of 2 billion angels singing Handel's Hallelujah chorus. As KrotchRaut shred randomly on guitars made of dragon bones using picks made from God's kidney stones, Jesus heals a blind woman who promptly gives birth onstage to a creation of pure light.

It's getting really tough to find songs that both DTF and I like.

Took a listen. Not bad! A lot calmer than I expected. Very nice pick.

How Many More Times

Probably the hardest pick thus far.  There were five or so Zeppelin songs that could easily make the list any given day.  This particular day it was HMMT.
:metal

Not close to my favourite Zep song, but really nearly every Zep song is incredible.

I'm a bit weird when it comes to Zeppelin.  85% of their music is the most annoying and despicable music I can name; absolutely hate it.  The remaining 15% is consistently among the finest music ever created.  There really isn't any middle ground for me.  As I said earlier,  I'm approaching this from the desert island standpoint,  and HMMT pretty much covers everything that makes Zeppelin's good music awesome.  I might prefer listening to No Quarter or Achilles, but they're not all that encompassing.  HMMT runs the gamut.

Continuing with the desert island approach, my next pick is Symphony No. 7 (Beethoven).  I figure I'll only devote one slot to classical, and while there are a couple of others that I enjoy listening to more, there isn't anything that would captivate me as much.  I think I could listen to this once a day and never fully grasp every thing that's going on.  The man was really monumental badass.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think that's a song I sent you during your roulette (and I won the round btw). I really hesitated between this song and Epidemic for my 4th pick.

Good choice :tup

Haha, I love all their stuff :)

My favourite is Achilles though, followed by Stairway and Kashmir.

I liked them better when they were called Sepultura.

Funny thing.  I can honestly say that I haven't heard more than 60 seconds of Stairway in over 20 years.  If it comes on the radio I'll turn it off, and if I can't I'll leave.  True story,  I actually precipitated a fight with a girl I was actively fucking at the time because I stopped and turned the radio off.   :lol  At this point,  I don't even hold my grudge against it anymore.  It's now just a matter of principle.

Just for fun guys, check everyone's list and predict who you think will win. Just before the last round.

I think Ħ has a fair chance to win, though DTVT has a pretty clever list too.

I think this draft would be even better if more songs were to be drafted by each person. 12 or more, that way there can be some really oddball songs get tossed around.

Yeah, I'd be great to add two more songs to make it a 10 songs list.

DTVT, Nic35, and El Barto, and I have lists that really represent DTF.  The other lists are great but too obscure for people to vote for.

I think it'll be close between us four.

I don't think my list is that obscure...? I mean, everyone has heard/heard of the bands I've put up so far I'm sure.

It's not obscure, but not everybody's cup of tea. But hey, that's what tastes are all about. Diversity.
