Like most of us, I learned to accept that nothing is too far fetched when it comes to this show.

I'm excited with  "Better Call Saul" starting up as well. I'm hoping they give Huell more scenes. All's I'm sayin'.

The Saul show is set before BB so if anything, Mike could get more scenes.

It would be cool for Gus to be building his empire in the background of the Saul show.

walt was totally faking the cancer comeback to get out of the questions. now he has to go back to save jesse's ass then probably kill him when he attacks with rage. then off to the sunset. ricin is for the czech drug lady or the gray matter assholes me thinks.

I don't know why he would  go through chemo again and been shown already in the flashforwards taking pills JUST FOR FAKING IT!!

But that's his character. He goes to the utmost extremes to keep the lie believable.

So in the flashforward, WHERE HE HAS NO FAMILY LEFT OR NO ONE TO HAVE TO KEEP THE LIE ALIVE, WHERE "HEISENGBERG" IS WRITTEN ON THE WALL OF HIS FORMER HOME he's still faking the cancer and taking pills and shit? He's THAT much of a method actor?

I hate how every conspiracy theory is that one of the characters was just dreaming or is in a coma or dead and in the afterlife, it's always stupid and unoriginal and just completely retarded.

Ah, the classic set-up episode.  It was pretty much impossible for tonight's episode to not be a bit underwhelming after the epic win of Ozymandias.  It kind of was, but like I said, it was the classic Breaking Bad set-up episode, and you just know next week is gonna be awesome, sad, tense and crushing all at the same time.

I love, too, how they have made Todd, Jack, and his gang to be much, much worse than Walt has ever been.  Walt is gonna meet his end next week, and he should, but we are likely to still get the satisfaction of seeing him take down Jack and the others.

There's just too many loose ends right now for a standard "walt saves jesse" finish and with the re-introduction of Elliot and Gretchen adds just another.

I really don't think the ending is going to be anything vaguely expected.....

I really like the way they used the theme song at the end of this episode. It really made it feel as though the whole show was building up to that exact moment. I also like how Flynn says to his father "why don't you just die?", mirroring when he asks him "why don't you just fucking die" in the pilot episode, very nice throwback.

Now another week waiting for Felina. :censored

Speaking of Felina, a cool possible meaning I heard a while back:

FeLiNa, or Iron, Lithium, and Sodium - blood, meth, and tears.

Why would Walt save Jesse now?  Any positive feelings Walt had for Jesse are long gone.  As far as Walt is concerned, Jesse is a rat who is responsible for Hank's death.

What is interesting is how Walt has all but given up twice in the last three episodes:

-He surrounded to Hank and would have gone to jail had Jack and his crew not shown up.
-He called and gave himself and his location up to the cops tonight, but bolted once he saw the Gray Matter thing on TV, which triggered his ego once again.

Walt is on the verge of death from the cancer; that is no doubt.  But his ego wants him to set things right, as he sees them, once and for all before he goes.

Also, it was sad tonight seeing what Walt had become: a man, all alone, without his family, without anyone, slowly dying of cancer, and so lonely, he was willing to pay someone 10 grand to spend an hour with him.  Regardless of what he did to get to where he is, it was sad.

My very small criticism of last night's episode is that we didn't see enough of Walt's family struggling as a result of what he had done.  The disappearing guy telling Walt about it isn't the same.  Marie now knows for sure that Hank is dead, and we saw her for a whopping five seconds last night.  Skyler is apparently struggling to make ends meet now while living somewhere else, but we only know this because that guy told Walt.

With only one episode left, do you really think that a meandering montage of what we already know to be true is the best idea? They're extremely confined to a very small frame of specific story-telling. They got their point across perfectly fine and I for one would have thought it mundane for them to show all that. Even with the extended time of this episode and the next, it still feels like it's going to be pretty close. To each his own though. If we had three, four episodes left, I'd be right there with you. Sadly they don't have long.

I kind of liked that they did it that way. It kind of put us in Walt's shoes. We found out about it in the same way he did, and he's probably feeling the same way you are. Walt offering the guy $10k to stay for an hour broke my heart. I've never been so conflicted with whether I love or hate a character.

Blurbs about last night:

- I was for some reason extremely satisfied that Lewis was mentioned one more time before the shows end. It be great if Walt mailed the package anyway, and we finally get to see what the fuck he looks like when the package arrives.

- I kind of felt bad for Saul, even though he's crooked and deceiving.

- I couldn't feel more sorry for Jesse. He tried so many times to get out. Even early on, we saw him at that job interview. Deep down, he wanted to be a good member of society who could be respected for legitimate reasons. If he had taken the offer to relocate, Andrea would still be alive.

- I hope we get to see Tod die at the hands of Jesse.

- I've really liked Walt Jr. in these last two episodes. The freak out in the office was great.

- And okay... I may have been wrong about Walt faking his cancer.
