Tiny baby snake!
« on: July 15, 2011, 05:46:02 AM »

None of the others have hatched yet, but I am hoping they will soon. This baby is the first out.  :) She/he is tiny! So cute.
These are my first hatchlings, so I am all new to this lol.
3 corn snakes, 1 boa, 1 python, 1 milk snake, 1 king snake, 1 rat snake, and a partridge in a pear tree.
RIP Piccolini and Maya

Depends if it was born in the kitchen or not.

Congrats! It has a very nice colour in the background behind the head.

My brother and I used to have many of these and we still keep some, but now we are trying to focus on breeding other species.

Corn Snakes are a great choice to start breeding snakes, for sure.

I love corns. I have mom and dad plus another. He was my first snake, we caught in the woods like a year and 8 months ago. I didn't know much about snakes, and now know that it's best to stick with captive-bred. Besides the 3 corns, I have 5 others, and the eggs and this little dude.
I would reccomend snakes to anyone :)

@Jamesman
Aaaaww he's just a baby!!! He's not even a day old. Curled up he's barely bigger than a quarter!

Can we get a picture of a baby next to something of known size for comparison?  I would have guessed its significantly bigger than a quarter.

Here's a picture of a ball python exploring my cranium.

Awesome  :D I have a ball python, too! I might have to take a picture of it.

(Yes, I'm aware of the endless possible innuendos of that. Don't bother pointing it out.)

I just don't understand what they were trying to achieve with any part of the song, either individually or as a whole. You know what? It's the Platypus of Dream Theater songs. That bill doesn't go with that tail, or that strange little furry body, or those webbed feet, and oh god why does it have venomous spurs!? And then you find out it lays eggs too. The difference is that the Platypus is somehow functional despite being a crazy mishmash or leftover animal pieces
