Second concert in Brazil at Credicard Hall, the venue is quite beautiful but who got a standing ticket like me the view sucked, during the concert I could barely see the stage
, thanks that the venue also had 2 large side screens showing the concert. Anyway, despite those problems the concert was amazing, production was stellar and everyone on the stage were very inspired.
it's noteworthy that several hours before the concert, while waiting in the row outside, we could hear the soundcheck and "On the Backs of Angels" was entirely performed. After that I believe that the security realized that the sound was leaking and the entire row was moved away from that spot
Mangini's solo was very entertaining, he even ate a banana in the middle of his solo! very funny guy!
During the show, JLB made some comments after Jordan and Petrucci solos, giving some very sincere compliments about them and after a duo between Jordan and Petrucci he asked the crowd how could he add something more to that performance, promptly Petrucci offered his guitar to him
but he refused saying that the plays guitar like shit.
Finishing my small review I'd like to say that the band's chemistry is better than ever, everybody was in high spirits and that was my 3rd concert and by far this was the best!
