I now have a PayPal account, and I need my roommate to send me money via it, but I don't see an account number or anything I can give him. Where does this information exist?

Why are you two wasting money through a PayPal transaction when you live together?

Well, it's complicated, but I'm actually living at home for the next few months

Just make sure you know you lose some of the money he sends you. If you have the leverage you might want to make him send enough to cover the losses.

If you send it as a personal transaction I don't think it costs any money.
