Haboob!!!!!!!

We had a massive storm here last night and I wanted to show and tell! Don't know what a haboob is? Wikipedia does and these pictures should tell the story!


What looks like mountains in the distance is actually a giant wall of dirt. Picture taken by friend when driving home from work.




I actually took this picture in the backyard. You can see the dirt starting to overtake us. I literally watched it spill over the wall.

Damage done to my sister's roof! She has a few spots like this.


We had to drive home in it, tried to wait as long as possible. Street lights were out, I couldn't see 100 yards in front of me. Came to a light without power, no one could see it should have been on so everyone was flying through it... decided to turn right haha
