Totally fictitious thread. But what do u all think were MP's thoughts after listening ( and Im sure he has already) to OTBOA?

I think he was probably not very happy with the excellent feed back from the fans. Better than they did with AROP and CM.  He was probably also thinking " shit, it sounds like DT - but I'm not there!!"

My thoughts are that any topics or voiced-opinions suggesting Mike is unhappy with the DT guys being successful-- or even more successful-- without him are not going to be welcomed here by the moderator/admin staff, regardless if there's any validity to that or not. So good luck with this here  

More and more, though, I am really starting to get a better idea of just how many fans have been given that impression by Mike. Topics like these seem to be cropping up constantly.

I think it's probably like a more extreme version of how Charlie said he reacted to Pull Me Under. I'm sure there is a sense of pride, frustration, regret, sadness,anger and happiness.

I really don't care of what MP thinks about the new song.
maybe he has listened to the whole new record, and we don't know...

Yes, that's a little bit romantic, but I can't imagine that a friendship that has lasted a lifetime can be broken for one single reason.

I hope he's happy and I hope that he is actually saying "Well done, my friends"

I'd imagine he's glad that his friends didn't crash and burn without him and maybe feeling a little upset/regret that he isn't a part of it, then he'd move on and continue with whatever projects he's got going on right now.

Not sure why anyone would think he'd have any sinister thoughts on the matter, but whatevs.

I think MP would genuinely be happiest if DT ceased to exist without him.  Once that's sorta central to his thought process, all kinds of other unfortunate things stem from that.

The speculating in itself is fine (as long as it's kept respectful) and indeed it's already happened in a couple of threads, but it certainly doesn't need its own thread.
