They will post one album a day throughout July

Today, the countdown begins at #30

Triumph-Allied Forces

I would've expected this to make the Top 10!
would have thought the same thing but seeing the OP was TAC i immediately thought Maiden or DT related
Winger Theater Forums........or WTF.  ;D
TAC got a higher score than me in the electronic round? Honestly, can I just drop out now? :lol

If Devin Townsend/Strapping Young Lad and Protest the Hero don't show up on this list it is completely invalid.

I played the shit out of my Allied Forces album to the point I needed to buy it again.  Great album.

Surprised Allied Forces is so low for a hard rock thread, but I suppose you're including metal.  What about prog?  I want to see Saga. :lol

I know!!  Now you'll both have to take Honeymoon Suite's, "The Big Prize" off your list.

I'm from Canada, so this will be interesting.  Triumph is amazing!!  Obviously there will be some Rush in the list; hoping for some obscure stuff like "Coney Hatch" or "Sword- Metalized"

Triumph kicked ass. I've seen Rik Emmett about 5 times solo. He still kicks ass. if you liked that snippet, check this one out. Classic, classic song.

A top 30 of math...that would make for an interesting thread.

As stated above, Triumph kicked ass.  Saw them three times, and Emmit once.  One of the most balls out shows ever.  Should be an interesting list, but Moving pictures will take the top spot.

29. Into Eternity - The Scattering of Ashes

https://www.bravewords.com/news/164809

I actually picked this up a few weeks ago.  Impressive musically and vocally but it didn't really click with me.

My nephew after seeing them with DT wouldn't stop talking to me like the lead singer sings.  He'd growl on the phone "Hello........ and then in the high falsetto "Uncle Jooooooooe!" :lol

I just discovered Into Eternity after Iced Earth announced their new lead singer.  Eh, doesn't really do anything for me.  Bring on Helix, Anvil, Saga,  More Triumph, Sword, Coney Hatch, and of course, the mighty Rush!!

i'm from canada but dont automatically think it'll be interesting.

scattering of ashes, hey? ...guess that means there'll be three into eternity submissions as everyone knows Dead or Dreaming and Buried in Oblivion both smoke SoA.

I was hoping Into Eternity would have a spot on this list, but Buried In Oblivion is way better than The Scattering Of Ashes. Of course, if SoA had better production (better sounding drums, audible bass) it could rival it.

28) WOODS OF YPRES - Against The Seasons: Cold Winter Songs From The Dead Summer Heat (Krackenhaus - 2002)

27) GORGUTS - Obscura (Olympic - 1998)

Never heard of either of these bands.

26. Coney Hatch-s/t

When I found out they were opening for Maiden on the Piece Of Mind tour, I went out and bought this tape, to familiarize my self with them before I saw them. I don't really remember a lot about it though.

I'm sorry, but how Allied Forces is behind any of these

Lists = edgy.  There not that many bands from hard rock/metal to fill this list.

Coney Hatch is just a great straight up no frills hard rock band.  Good pick!
