Wonderful song, 474763643 times better than AROP, everybody shines, JMX is audible, mix is awesome. The vocal melodies are a bit forgettable but the music is so GOOD!!!

And for the first time since 8VM I feel that DT is a PROG metal band once again. Heck, they might even be PROGRESSIVE metal once again.

The last few notes sound almost identical too the last few notes of Sacrificed Sons to me

JLB's vox sound like they are doubled or stereo or something. Very similar to Static Impulse.

I love the music and think the song is great , it'd be nice if the chorus wasa bit more uplifting if that's the correct word, but I think JR shines in this song. I love his new sounds.

The JP solos were great, especially that bit he repeats a few times which reminded me of Ayreon for some reason. JM is full on in this one, all the way across the bass. JR did some awesome stuff in this, and we can actually hear him unlike in BCSL. James was good as usual, but didn't do anything incredibly mindblowing, and the lyrics are just ok.

That little beginning at 5:10 is very Ayreonish ideed.. Did catch it on the first listen, but I cant avoid hearing it now.. Not complaning btw =) Song is good!

I've been listening to this on my puters 5.1..which aren't bad. Now I ran to the store and listened to ANTR on my rockin truck stereo. I'm sorry but OTBoA is MUCH better to me, and I LOVE ANTR!!!!

Sadly, this song is just as uninspired as much of the past three albums. The vocals and melodies are just there.

The lyrics are my least favorite type of DT lyrics: vaguely politicized and seemingly critical about society. Really, DT's lyrics have been a major MAJOR problem for me for a while now. Could somebody please explain what these lyrics are about, because I don't want an album full of more Sacrificed Sons, Prophets of War, In the Name of God, The Great Debate type stuff. Maybe I'm totally wrong about what this song's about, so I'd like to proven wrong so I can actually enjoy it more.

So far the only thing I like is the intro, the bass being upfront, and one of the riffs. I knew most people would like it, but I guess I'm not much of a fan of new DT anymore. This cements it.

it's a good song. I like the fact that there isn't an out of place instrumental section in the middle, the song actually flows really well. The vocal melodies do sound similar to a lot of their other songs, but I can live with it.

I agree about the vocals to an extent, and also about the lyrics to an extent, but I think these weak elements are drowning in the sea of awesome that is the rest of the song.

Yeah there are quite a few instrumental parts of this song that remind me a lot of LTE, I was going to say something but I wasn't sure if I imagined it

I also feel like parts of the instrumentals remind me of Another Won or some of the Majesty era songs, which is great

The vocals didn't do anything for me the first listen through, there didn't seem to be a "hook" or a catchy chorus or anything, which is not necessarily a bad thing. The vocal melodies reminded me of Home or a few other SFAM melodies which I enjoyed, but they haven't grabbed me yet. The vocals will probably have to grow on me as they always do with James.
