Except for when it falls from the rafters and electifies the water condensation on top of the ice, thus wiping out 12 players and 3 officials , not to mention the zamboni driver who tries valiantly to save the players on the ice

I was thinking more along the lines if someone accidently turns it up to 11 or someone throws something at it, but I suppose falling is a remote posibility.

Winnipeg-Toronto games was fun yesterday as is tonight's Leafs- Boston game. One of the more intense games I've seen so far this year.

I love TSN. Too bad it all ends for a while on Sunday.

Tim Thomas would disagree

This is my fiance's hand, both showing the size difference between her engagement ring and the champ ring while gloating from her 5th row seats at the Garden while I sit in my crappy California apartment. I was coming here to share this, but then thought I'd jump in on the goaltender discussion and say that TT is the best goalie in the league. I don't even need stats to prove it. I've been a goaltender for 20 years (including a tournament or 2 in Canada...yes Canada) therefore my opinion wins and I submit as fact.

How did she get a ring (umm ..not the engagement one..)?
would have thought the same thing but seeing the OP was TAC i immediately thought Maiden or DT related
Winger Theater Forums........or WTF.  ;D
TAC got a higher score than me in the electronic round? Honestly, can I just drop out now? :lol

I anticipate a rash of suicides amongst Blue Jackets fans after tonight's game.

What a finish. I feel bad for columbus fans. Everyone should be beating the Sens this year they are weak at every aspect of the game. Granted the blue jackets have a "couple" injuries. I bet Columbus fans were grinning ear to ear when Neil decides to shove the ref negating the 5 on 3.

He didn't negate anything.  He got a 10 minute misconduct, but no minor or major penalty.

they looked sharp last night until that icing mishap and then the wheels fell off the bus. But not entirely.
Good road win.

Looks like my next game will be November 5th against Columbus.

Looks like I'm slated to see the following against the Flyers for sure already-
Kings (already happened)
Columbus
Chicago
Rangers (Winter Classic)
Penguins
Red Wings
Coyotes
Bruins

The Blue Jackets finally won a game last night. Now I can hang up my CBJ flag in my house. And that win was impressive too, 4-1 over Detroit. Let's hope they can continue to win, cuz the 1-7-1 record is dogshit. lol.

I watched PHI-WPG and OTT-FLA tonight.  Two ridiculously entertaining games.

And I maintain that Ottawa's goal this year is to troll every team.

Good game between the B's and Habs.  Seems the B's can't find the net this year. A bit of a hangover it seems.  Not surprising.

Wow, what a game in Philly tonight, sad we didn't even get a point out of the deal.

In other news it looks like I can add the Bruins and Coyotes to the list of teams I'll be seeing this year. :D

We were saying Montreal hit rock bottom during the first period of the Philly game and there was nowhere to go but up. They seem to be doing so. :)

The game was a bit of a snoozefest until the final five minutes.
Oops..I left with 10 to go to beat the traffic, heard "the Voice" go crazy on the radio when Ottawa won it. He screamed NICK FALIGNO about 10 times.

Who leaves a hockey game with 10 minutes remaining? I mean I understand people like to leave early, but 2 minutes to go should be plenty of time to beat heavy traffic.

I was with my mother, but I'd also driven my 8 year old who....if he's in bed too late become an unpleasant ball of puke the next day. And if you stay until to two minutes left of a game in ottawa yer looking at another 25-45 stuck in the parking lot.

We actually start chanting "BEAT THE TRAFFIC - clap clap clapclapclap"

Wow.

The only time I will ever leave a game early is when overtime ends and the shootout is about to start (I just flip the channel when I'm watching TV.)

When the Devils were at the Meadowlands there could be a half-hour or more wait, but you just have to know the good places to park.

Can't say I ever took my mom to a game, but my son saw the Kings play (Manny Legace started that night) when he was three months old at the Meadowlands.

(Perhaps this makes me a bad parent, but we got our son (now 13) home of few weekends back at 1 a.m. after a Carl Palmer Band concert.)

Watching the Sens-Rangers (Go Sens!) game now with the sound turned off (I hate MSG's announcers.)

These day it takes me about a NYC minute for me to get out of the Nassau Coliseum after a game.

rough loss vs. the leafs, brodeur obviously would not commit to the game fearing injury i think, barely any side to side motions leaving the net wide open. though i guess he started to feel more confident towards the end:

I thought they would call off Briere's S/O goal.  He came to a full stop.   By allowing that goal to stand, it might open the door to more of that action in future shootouts.

I didnt see the goal, but from what I understand, the player can come to a full stop...its the puck that cant, and must always be in motion.  But I may be wrong....certainly not the first time :)
