LA and Edmonton will both do better in the West than you are predicting I think.

And while I think the Atlantic division will be strong again this year I highly doubt all 5 teams will make the playoffs.

Jagr is looking pretty good, Nick.

So is Brendan Shanhan (more suspensions this year already than all of the regular season last year)

Yeah, I've heard good reports of Jagr from those who have seen some of the games. Tomorrow I'll get to watch my first pre-season game and I'm really looking forward to it.

Hah, Malkin joined twitter a few weeks ago and tweeted today that Crosby was practicing with contact. People were losing their minds. Then he said it was a joke.

Nice one, Geno. :lol

Geno on Twitter has been fantastic so far. His tweets are hilarious whether he wants them to be or not.

I haven't heard anything about a Center Ice free-preview this year, but they traditionally do it every year so I'm hoping this year is no different.

I think they will be.  Most others think they won't.

I expect them to make the playoffs.  Most think they'll be amongst the worst in the league.

They do, but I don't think it's enough to get them where they need to be. Still, if Streit stays healthy they should have a decent year.

The team to watch is Edmonton. Not quite sure if they'll make the playoffs, but they are going to have a strong showing as well. Hall and Eberle are going to have break out years I think.

This guy.

Oh, and it's also the first game I'll be going to with my new amazing girlfriend.

And it's to the day one month from our first date.

I am so fucking happy right now I could scream.
