Ok.
So here in Ottawa we're pretty excited. Lots of picks...LOTS. I think Bryan Murray is looking to flip most of his second rounders, and his second 1st rounder to move up in the draft. The Ottawa Senators organization has a HUGE hardon for Gabriel Landeskog, but it's unlikely he'll be there by the time we pick.
New Jersey will likely get him.

I found a great mock draft page yesterday complete with player profiles. I'll try and find it and post.

It'll be interesting to see what the Bruins do with Kaberle.

I don't think they resign him.  Unless he takes a pay cut.  He's not worth 4 million and there was a lot of grumbling on his lack of physicality as well as his puck decisions when pressured.

You are going to be shocked at how bad defensively he is.  We for about 3 years were trying to get him but we as a fan base were all shocked to see him play tentatively as a defensmen as well as not taking the puck up as a moving D-man.  I was shocked to not see him do that.  Add to it he never shoots.  Not a good fit for a team that loves to generate shots from the point.

Don't mind my double post... its a day later!

Since the old thread is locked, I guess I have to see in this one. Anyone in Boston make it down to the parade today? Got to watch it on the NHL network. Looked like a great time! I didn't realize Boston has had 7 major champs in the past 10 years. Yeesh, pass the luck around will ya!?

I was reminded of one slightly bad and one really bad deal the Flyers made.

We do not have a first or third round pick because those went for Kris Versteeg... slightly bad.

Then there is the horrible reason we don't have a 2nd round pick. We sent Scottie Upshall and 2nd round to Phoenix for Danial Carcillo... wtf. So no pick until the 4th round, wonderful.

It would be incredibly dumb for anyone to sign Bryzgalov to the kind of deal he reportedly wants.

Frankly, I'm going to be so pissed at the Flyers if they don't sign Bryz simply because we should have learned our lesson with Hamhuis. We traded for rights unconditional stuff and got burned. If you're going to make a big trade for rights to this guy then you better be fucking prepared to sign him.

Can't wait for the draft.

Portnoy, if you're reading this (and I know you're not....when was the last time you wore a hockey jersey?) you better kick ass on Friday!

I think Landy will go 3 or 4.....and I know the Sens have a huge hard-on for him.I think Alfredson is his favorite player and he might even be from the same town as Alfie.
Frankly the women in Ottawa will too...you should have seen this kid at the combine...he's an adonis...

He won't be there at 6...so they'll trade up to get him. Or try very hard.

My mom stalked Alfie and Bibby at Golftown yesterday.
He must have had his surgery cause he wasn't moving too quick and she was driving.
No matter how fast he heals, he might be done.....

Thank goodness.  Losing two top blue liners in one off-season would have really hurt.

according to the winnipeg gm, the 7th pick won't wear the jerseys of the team for next season. sounds like he will be given a thrashers jersey, they are being real douchey about this whole naming/logo thing. hurry the hell up and tell us, you are not the devils, you can't drag this on.

Check out the link to the B's partying at Fooxwoods in Conn.  A $100,000 champagne bottle. And Marchand pimping with some hot girls.  Too funny.

I believe that picture of a bar tab has been spreading around for at least 6 months. I'm trying to find the articles about it.

Edit: one I was thinking of was from the Wynn, so this may be legit.

it's between pens, wings, and an undisclosed team right now. there is only one team that i can think of which likes to deal undisclosed. jagr/elias would be a deadly combo.

apparently pens are only interested if the price is very low, which probably disqualifies them.
