After listening to Metropolis: Part 2...
« on: June 10, 2011, 01:29:26 PM »
I have found, that if I was Hindu, I would have reached Nirvana.

If I was a Buddhist, I would have reached Enlightenment.

It is that good.

Since I'm neither Hindu or Buddhist, I couldn't get a good example, Christianity is not a good religion to get metaphor from :P

You'd feel like you just came out of confession after being told "you don't need to say any prayers this time, you're THAT good."

Haha, exactly that.

Also, a good knowledge of Buddhism and Hinduism would help because I think I've got it wrong

After listening to Metropolis: Part 2... I didn't like it, so i listened again and again and again and again and again. Now it's my favorite CD.

Amen bro!

And if I were a a real Jedi, I would have become a Master, achieved immortality and brought balance to the force.

But since I'm just a regular human been, instead of that, I reached the greatest posible pleasure. A Peter North style orgasm. If I were a woman, I would have squirted so hard, I would have watered the whole Sahara desert.

That good it is indeed.

I AM Hindu. SFAM is perhaps my least favorite DT album. Don't flame me please: the latter is my very personal opinion, the former wasn't my choice ;D

BTW, I do feel close to Moksha (the term closer to Hinduism than Nirvana, IMO) every time I listen Awake or I&W all the way through.

After listening to Metropolis Part II, I sat back for a moment and stared at the screen, scared shitless at the 'Open your eyes Nicholas'. I was hooked.
