A long shot, I know, but I was wondering if there were any fans here? A great British indie band that have matured musically and lyrically with every album. I know they're huge in the UK, but I have no idea how well known they are overseas.

Best songs to check out if you're wanting to get into them:

I am... well I really like Favourite Worst Nightmare
I imagined the story to go more like this.

I was sitting a traffic light blaring Space Dye Vest and next to me in another car was Kevin Moore. And I'll never be open again.

I listened a lot to this band when they released their first album, and I still quite dig some of their hit-songs.
I believe they have a new album coming out, or maybe it has already been released, either way I haven't checked it out, and unless it gets really good reviews, I probably not will.
Solid band though, the only negative thing I can say is that their songs CAN get a bit 'samey' in terms of sound, but they also have some good tunes.

A Certain Romance is pretty good.
Zydar is my new hero.  I just laughed so hard I nearly shat.

First two albums? Brilliant. Last two? Not so much.

I dig 'em, Favourite Worst Nightmare being my favorite album of the first three. Haven't heard their latest yet.

Fair enough, I can see that it's a good album, I just couldn't really get into it at all sadly. The new one doesn't sound much more like my kind of thing either.

First impressions of Suck It after one listen: I like, don't know how though, Humbug grew on me a fair bit, hopefully this will too. Doesn't have any standout tracks however, and I do miss the energy of the first two records.

Fovrite Worst Nightmare is their best album. Humbug is men compared to their other ones.

So I've come to the conclusion that Humbug is probably my favourite album of all time.

Wow, this is an old thread. I did an acoustic cover of Do I Wanna Know. https://tindeck.com/listen/flfy   I'm not a singer, but I wouldn't mind feedback anyway. Thanks!
