I assumed it was a wing because I assumed the plane was turning, thus having one wing above the clouds.  But now that you mention it, maybe it does look more like a tail than a wing in general shape.  I'm not sure.

i just think that if you look at the angle between the tail and top of plane (the bend), if it were a wing the nose of the plane would be over the clouds as well.

Its actually a pretty sad cover. The rope snapped and he doesn't know it, while a plane is about to pass through the break, and witness but it won't

Really, what's the word... mediocre? album cover. I mean, when the reaction to the music is AWESOME!!! and the cover gets plenty of "LOL!!!" you gotta say it. As of now: Music = Good; Artwork = Bad.

Oh well, as long as the rest of the music is good, it's all OK.

Wait wait wait till you hear the rest of the DT album... oh my... but please enjoy On the Backs of Angels as it was my 1st recorded song and I can't wait until you hear it in person! There aren't enough hours in the day for me before leaving for Rome. I'm learning a HUGE DT epic (last min. add) to throw in this tour :) ahhhhh!!!

From Mike Mangini!!
Huge DT epic.... ACOS?!?!?!

I actually quite like it. I mean, it's not amazing, but (1) it's not busy, and is pretty simple, and (2) the colour scheme is very bright. These things make me happy.

THIS!

Finally an opinion that isn't ripping it to pieces lol

I usually don't judge an album for its title.

I think the title is really meaningful.
And I'm really glad that there isn't a title track or something like that.

9 songs for me are quite enough and the titles are really inspiring

Well, I don't dislike it at all, in fact I enjoy it greatly. I just don't find it hugely exciting, and definitely one of DT's weaker albums.

Fixed the quoting for you.

And Constant Motion is a good song, definitely not one of DT's worst as some people seem to claim.

Dude, that song is awful.  If it weren't for the instrumental section, it would have no redeeming qualities whatsoever.

The riff rocks, and I enjoy the back and forth in it.

And yeah the instrumental/solo section is really groovy and takes it from maybe a 5/10 up to a 7/10.
