Could I have some more info on this machine? I don't understand how having people pay $1 for songs they probably won't recognize is a profitable business.

It's a jukebox that is connected to the internet. The library has millions of songs.

As far as Outcry, I love it!  I love the effects JR does in the beggining, the Machine gun....Radio static...and passing helo, they just set the scene for the song so well for me.

Outcry is a good song.  Don't see why anyone would hate it.  But, then again, this is DTF.  All kinds of hate around here.

I never got the association between FFH and BAI... I don't really see any similarities whatsoever.

I have not posted in DTF for a long time, but I felt I had to say something here:

Outcry suffers from what I call "Endless Sacrifice" syndrome: A song in which the instrumental section outshines the main section of the song and does not fit its overall atmosphere at all.

To add to that, the choir patch JR uses in the intro is cheesy, the lyrics in the chorus are very cliché and LaBrie's vocals are mostly forgettable (except for "Locked in a kingdom of fear, as our children die!". The fact that it comes after BITS, my favourite song on the album does not help my personal opinion towards it as well.

Of course, this is all in my opinion and it's subjective as well, but the OP wanted an answer so I had to put in my 2 cents.
