Some of the Christian music I listen to has had synths on their newer releases, but it was very tasteful and had a good tone to it.

Wow that was truly awful. That guitar solo hurt my ears nearly as much as them looking like they trying to be sick while screaming. Just terrible. And what was with all the phlegm sounds at the end...sheesh!

That wasn't a knock against synths, just synths being used in hardcore/post-hardcore songs. My friend is into stuff like Asking Alexandria so he played me some tracks off their newest album and it's definitely saturated with synths that sound god awful.
