Does anyone know where I might be able to find these recordings of this show?

If you are willing to pay for the phisical CDs you may find them on ebay. However, I have to say that they are extremely rare, and pop up once in a year circa.

If you only want to listen to the shows in lossless format, I can link you the place where you can find both (I actually uploaded Live In Long Island after a couple of years of hard search :)).

Anything is great. These shows weren't ever officially released right? I'd rather not pay money for a bootleg.

Yep JLB sounds awesome so far.  Always weird hearing him say "this is off the new album Under A Glass Moooon".  That was 8 albums ago!  :lol  I can also actually hear girls screaming.  Ladies at DT gigs! Why wasn't I there :(  :lol

I have circa 40-50 bootlegs from the IAW era, and in EVERY single one of them James introduces Under A Glass Moon in that way (like: "this is off Images And Words, and this one is... Under A Glass (growls) MOOOOOON")

Hi, and welcome here! As soon as the PM-machine starts working again, I'll send you the link :)

Anyway, does JP still live in Long Island? Have you ever met him at the supermarket?  :lol

Thanks a ton!

Yes he does, its kind of known that he lives in St James, NY and I believe either him or some of the band members have mentioned it before. I dont want to toot my own horn, but I actually know where he lives(not that I stalk him or anything). My girlfriends family own a restaurant right around the corner and had delivered to his house before. Of course out of respect to him, I wont divulge that info, but if I do happen to see him, stories will be shared here.

About 5 years ago, my friend was working at the DSW in the area and there was a Petco next door(which is now gone). He was ringing a woman up and when she handed him her credit card he noticed it said Rena Petrucci on it. Turns out it was her and he was ecstatic. This was around the the time of the Score show. She had told him that John was actually next door getting pet food and that she would pass along the praise. :p

Its a silly story, and I dont expect anyone to believe me, but whatever. Hopefully when the next US tour comes around, they'll do the meet n greet package again and I'll finally be able to meet the guy in person. :)

I just don't understand what they were trying to achieve with any part of the song, either individually or as a whole. You know what? It's the Platypus of Dream Theater songs. That bill doesn't go with that tail, or that strange little furry body, or those webbed feet, and oh god why does it have venomous spurs!? And then you find out it lays eggs too. The difference is that the Platypus is somehow functional despite being a crazy mishmash or leftover animal pieces
