Man, that Bucharest 2002 performance is lava hot! My favorite era of DT by far. Lots to love about what came after, but, live Dream Theater was never better than 1998 through 2005.

Heh, a quote from 2010 here. He’s done other great solos since of course, but I’m not sure he has topped it (tastes and all that, etc.)
