This is their best, IMHO.  Simply a great mix of songwriting, musicianship, lyrics, and performance.  Unequaled in their catalogue.
Hef is right on all things. Except for when I disagree with him. In which case he's probably still right.

What an excellent, excellent song. It was always my favorite of the songs we played live.
Interestingly, I find the F# one of the less exciting parts of the song. Maybe because I have witnessed too many bone-crushing butcherings of that part (both by DT and my band).

This is my favourite song, flawless in every way.

If you want to get picky, just because, I could say that maybe the intro is the least interesting thing it has. And if you want another good alternative way to end this song, check out the one they did in LSFNY.

The outro is the best ever (TCOT close second) but in The live version of LTL I love how JLB changes up this line  "The way that your heart beats makes all the difference In learning to liiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiive!!!!!"  More emotion than the album version.
