Porstmouth Sinfonia - an orchestra made entirely of non-musicians who had a short time to learn how to play their parts before performing. They ended up playing Royal Albert Hall IIRC...

Leave it to manager to fuck everything up.  Weird Al had to jump through hoops to get a Lady Gaga song to parody(His own thing not to upset the originator)  but had to record it first for approval with the lyrics(canceled his family vacation to do so) and then got shot down only to find out it was the manager and Lady Gaga never knew.  Managers sometimes suck.  Link with the song.
