we don't have a release date for the third episode yet, right?
There is so little respek left in the world, that if you look it up in the dictionary, you'll find that it has been taken out.

Uncle Ricky wants YOU to show some respek

No. But I think it's safe to say they'll release it on Friday.
Jesus Christ himself* comes down amidst a choir of 2 billion angels singing Handel's Hallelujah chorus. As KrotchRaut shred randomly on guitars made of dragon bones using picks made from God's kidney stones, Jesus heals a blind woman who promptly gives birth onstage to a creation of pure light.

I think it's surprising that we've seen none of Lang yet.  Not even a glimpse........but I think I saw a bandana in the cliffhanger.

Maybe he was one of the last guys to audition?
. My old fart memory beside, I think Peter said he was the last to audition.  On a side note, I heard a rumour/statment, today from someone from RR, that": dont count out Lang. The RR guy/girl, he is a friend of mine, and as much as I trust him, I just am putting it out there. Not saying its Lang, it just threw me for a loop I guess.

I CAUGHT YOU BEFORE YOU EDITED IT, HAHA

And actually.....my gut kinda tells me Lang is gonna be the guy that gets the "best audition yet" praise.  I know the video showed Minnemann right before that comment, but I don't think that means that the comment must be regarding him.

I wish I could dude. Lets just say NOBODY high up. Just someone that is in RR publicity/marketing Department . he/she wre talking today, I NEVER brought up Lang as a possible. My actual commentw as I thought it ws Mangini or Wildoer. Silence for a minute, then :Don't count out Lang. a laugh from the person and I left it at that.

Not a laugh at Lang, jus they way they kind of put it.

Lang is my first choice, but I'm still betting on Mangini and I'd be fine with Mangini.

However I hope at least to see way more actual audition for footage for both Lang and Donati.

I think tomorrow will be Derek Roddy, Marco Minneman, and Virgil Donati. The last day will be Thomas Lang, Aquilies Priester, and Peter Wildoer.

Then when does that leave time for a recap? Going by Mangini's rule of thumb, they spent like 7 minutes on each guy. But, then again, the 7 minutes of Mangini was fleshed out a lot by them talking about the process. So I'm guessing 5 minute for each-- we'll get four guys on Wednesday, 2 guys on friday and then 10 minutes of recap with the drummer announcement.

I don't get out to work until 12:30 and then I have to pick up something for my mom. I'm just hoping I don't have a premature smilejaculation just thinking about the new documentary episode and get in a car accident.

Maybe the next two episodes will be longer than 20 minutes. Nobody has seemed to have mentioned of that yet (from what I recall reading in this thread).

By the way Nihil have you seen me perform Lalle Larsson's tune "Experiment" a few years ago at a drum clinic:

It seems like mysterious sources/events/hints are always dropping that elevate the least probable drummers into the mix again (or at least put them back in the conversation again).

I am sold on it being Wildoer. If not him, then Mangini. If not him, then nobody. Dream Theater never existed if not.

Wildoer has always been my second choice (behind Lang) but seeing how fun and honest he's being with us on here is really making me wish he gets the gig.

The irony is that, if he did get the gig, his honesty is something that will be rendered obsolete (only in context to the few statements of, "I did not get it." of course)

So I just heard about season 2 to come out next week. This season will end with Dream Theater selecting a drummer and then getting called by Mike's lawyers because he's suing them for the band name. Season 2 begins with DT quickly firing their new drummer and beginning a new audition process someone who can both play drums and defend them in court.
