Chek out Peter in Electrocution 250.

Great cd if you can find it.
If the physical CD is hard to find, it's also for sale on iTunes, Amazon MP3, or CD Baby. (We love ya Peter!)

When will the next episode be?  Is this going to be a weekly thing?  Also, is it known when the band will announce the new drummer?  Does the band already know the new drummer?

Tomorrow 11AM EST

Nope, 3 episodes, episode 2 tomorrow.

Probably in the last episode.

Yes.

On roadrunner's youtube channel, and we are not sure as of yet, RR said that they would all be done this week, so the logical day would be Friday.

Would be cool since that album is quite old by now. I was told just a few weeks ago by Matt (the guy that released the E-250 album) that JR was a fan of the band, coool!

Dude, that album rocks. I think I some pople here cold get ahold of it, they would be floored.
Is that the Electric Cartoon Music From Hell album? Because that is also on Spotify! :D

Yes, that's the Electric Cartoon Music From Hell album.

Schweet, syncing up to iPod now, will listen to it at work tomorrow, along with the Darkane!

Cool. The E-250 stuff is awesome. as is Darkane. Check out Peter in Pestilence (s/P? sorry doing a brain fart at the moment).

Here's a link to me recording some drums for the Pestilence record:

You guys will soon get to know my playing, ha ha ha....  ;)

@Peter:  Okay, here's another one I think you probably can answer at this point:  What did they send you to prep for the audition?  I'm guessing some audio of the songs (CD?  mp3?) and something written (actual sheet music?  cheat sheet with the time signatures?).  Anything else you can tell us about that?

We got sent the three songs in mp3 format and that's it. It kind of felt overwhelming in the beginning that I had to learn all that! We didn't get no sheet music or anything but I knew that a friend of mine had some DT Sheet music books and I borrowed it and there I had all of the meters etc, nice.  :)  Also I have Portnoy's Liquid Drum Theater DVD so I could get a grip on "The dance of eternity". That at least sped up the process of learning the songs.

Thanks for taking the time to share this great info with us Peter!  Very cool insight and cool to know you are on these forums.  Great drumming on Static Impulse also.  That CD was my introduction to your drumming.
If anyone in this thread judge him; heyy James WTF? about you in Awake In Japan? Then I will say; WTF about you silly?

I'm pretty sure Derek had to audition, given only audio as well.

BTW Wildoer isn't checking this thread anymore.

Yes I am.  ;)  Lurking, lurking, lurking...

By the way Nihil have you seen me perform Lalle Larsson's tune "Experiment" a few years ago at a drum clinic:

www.youtube.com/watch?v=vTZZ42Uu9aI

Thought you might like it?

Cheers

Thanks, I love the way you make such amount of personal contact on here. Very cool.
I'll check it in the morning, need some sleep right now, and listening to some of your drumming isn't actually the best way
to get me to sleep (no offence, of course, haha)

Oh and about the E-250II album, I'd love to hear that happen. The first was crazy, weird and incredibly fast, and I'd love to hear more of that stuff!

Really? Cool man :)
I've been wanting to learn for years now, and I'm almost 19. I've been thinking I'll be getting too old for it for some reason.. (maybe it's because of lot of good drummers start when they're kids?)
Glad to see that you can never be too old.

I find it admirable that at your age (I realize 41 isn't very old, but you're not a teenager or a young adult anymore) you're learning to play the drums.
I didn't mean to make it sound like I was calling you an old fogey. My apologies.
