Share your ignorance

This is mostly for college grads or college students; which areas of learning do you have pretty much no knowledge of? For me, the first that come to mind are biology and psychology. I had a biology class in high school but the teacher was terrible and since it was a private Christian school I didn't learn anything about evolution. I've never taken a class on psychology. I've read books that are related to it but I don't have the basics down at all.

wtf is the internet?

Psychology is a fun class, you should take it if possible.

For me, anything with politics. I am clueless in that regard. Any other subject I at least know the basic tents enough to work with it, but politics feels very foreign to me. And any time I try to learn about it, I get bored quickly.

I am very ignorant when it comes to politics as well, including current events.  I'm also pretty ignorant when it comes to history, other cultures, and language.  But with math/science stuff I think I'm pretty solid (except computer science).
"All great works are prepared in the desert, including the redemption of the world. The precursors, the followers, the Master Himself, all obeyed or have to obey one and the same law. Prophets, apostles, preachers, martyrs, pioneers of knowledge, inspired artists in every art, ordinary men and the Man-God, all pay tribute to loneliness, to the life of silence, to the night." - A. I have endeavored throughout my life to make efforts NOT to be completely ignorant of things that may impact me in any way whatsoever.  To that end, I know at least a little about a vast array of things.

Having said that, I'm sure there are a great many things of which I am completely ignorant.  However, I am ignorant of what they are.
Hef is right on all things. Except for when I disagree with him. In which case he's probably still right.

So Social Cognitive Theory is directly related to the legalization of marijuana, for instance?

Actually, don't answer that.

Kinda weird - I've never been too good at math or biological sciences, but I am very much into Earth sciences (geology/geography, etc.)

I'm like hefdaddy, I try to keep my gaps to a minimum.

Something I haven't done alot of though would be english literature and/or arts & culture. I've done analytical english (things like critically reading articles, creative writing etc) but never anything with a whole lot of depth. Its something that, looking back now, I should have done more of so I can appreciate the arts better.

I suppose if we are going to be broad, I'm ignorant when it comes to musical instrumentation also - which sucks when you love music so much.
I punch those numbers into my calculator and they make a happy face.

Those would be wonderful things to learn more about. :)
