I've seen the Lights twice in my lifetime.  Both times were pretty much happenstance, in northern Michigan.  Not far enough north to get the serious colors, but we got the patterns and stuff, and confirmed later that it was in fact the Northern Lights both times, just not really great showings because of where we were.  I want to catch them way up in Northern Canada or Alaska some day.

I live in Canada, and I've seen them a couple times. They are amazing. :)

Please tell me Iceland is awesome. I don't like traveling that much but that's like the one place I want to see.
