Quote from: Perpetual Change on February 07, 2010, 05:15:13 PMAllen definitely had more of a stage presence, but for obvious reasons. At the Trocadero, I was looking up at him. Through all the lighting and shadows he looked like a giant, epic, metal god. Both times I saw Dream Theater I was about even with James or standing above him, so he didn't look nearly as cool.I was probably at the same show as you, were you at the Paradise Lost tour? Sure he looks cool, but he didn't really do much.

I remember being really impressed, except for PL (song). Allen seemed to be completely off key during that one. Also, the fact that I couldn't here him at all during the quiet sections of the songs was kinda disappointing.

Since you all seem to be Symphony X fans, why haven't you voted in my survivor?
I'd like Allen more if he kept his integrity and stuck with beautiful singing rather than going all harsh vocals on recent albums to please the kiddies.
Joe and I in the same squad is basically the virtual equivalent of us plowing a rape van through an elementary school playground at recess.
Allen owns, LaBrie cant hit any notes live for shit! Although great in studio Labrie is doing more of a falsetto yell rather than vocalizing, id suck allens dick any day! Listen to Gortuary!
Gadough isn't Hitler. He's much, much worse.
on par with the anguish one would have from getting unconsensually bent over and buttloved.
