VST (or Virtual Instrument)...
« on: March 19, 2011, 01:32:19 PM »
i have a question to ask for the composers out there:)

alright so i was wondering if any of you guy's know a good Orchestral/Strings VST's because i tried "East West Symphonic XP Silver Edition" (or whatever it calls).. and i'm not to fond with the sounds... it's feels kind of "cheap" but i know the people who make this vst have spend a lot of time for making this one...

I own "reFx Nexus" and i have the expansion pack "Dance Orchestra" and in my opinion the strings sound much better in this one than the East West...

and i was wondering if there is another good vst patch out there.. i heard Tonehammer is a pretty good company but i wish they would make some orchestral patches:(...

Vienna Strings
LA Scoring Strings
Sonic Implants
Project Sam Strings
Garritan Personal Orchestra (Super duper low end, some of the choirs and chimes are interesting)
London Orchestral Sound
Synful Orchestra
Wallander Instruments (I've heard these recommended but never heard them)
Take a chance you may die
Over and over again
