Gooey uplifting pop-prog song!
« on: March 10, 2011, 10:38:13 PM »
I decided to re-record a song of mine since the first version does it no justice. This is a gooey uplifting prog song in G. I made sure to tone down the cheese, so it's not too unbearable! It's begging for vocals, so one day I'll sit down and finish those.

Let me know what you think about the mix and mastering. I think this is the first time I've really got the mastering right. The only fault I have is the bends in the solo might be a bit out of tune, but I don't have any of my recording gear at school, so I can't fix them right now.

Equipmentals are my JP7 thru Guitar Rig 4, Reason 4, MF, and Logic 8.

Enjoy!

I like it... it reminds me of a J-Rock band, Siam Shade.

Not cheesy, IMO  :tup
In high school my buddies and I built a Van Der Graaf generator.  You know, to get girls.
