There are far, far too many to even try to narrow it down.

But just limiting it to Dream Theater

1.  The first time I saw them do ACOS in its entirety.  August 2000 at the Electric Factory in Philly- played as an encore.

2.  Metropolis Pt. 1 at Radio City Music Hall for the Score DVD filming.  Thinking of the moment the curtain lifted to reveal the orchestra behind them still gives me chills.
I'd kill myself for you.

I saw Gojira at Bloodstock last year before I knew them and I was blown away by their whole set. If I had to nominate a favourite I'd say "Love".

Okay yeah, seeing Trains live was awesome as well, and I was really excited when SW strummed that first chord, but I think I enjoyed hearing the first half of Russia On Ice in the same show even more.

Gotta add Freebird by Lynrd Skynrd.  It was a New Years show, and was the first time Jonnie Van Zandt sag the song since his brother Ronnie died.  Before that, they did the song instrumentaly with a spotlight on the microphone.  Wasn't a dry eye in the house.

Is that why someone always yells for Freebird at every gig?  ;)

Oh man Freebird live was great as well.  As my second concert (that I wanted to go to) ever it was a pretty awesome encore.

DT - Octavarium - final solo. What made this 10x more awesome than it already is is that I was directly front row center, JP wailing away just a couple feet in front of me.

Strange as it might sound, it just might be "Popplagiđ" (Untitled 8) by Sigur Rós.

Or "Comfortably Numb," "The Spirit of Radio" or "2112."

Seeing Megadeth play all of Rust in Peace was awesome. If I can only pick one song, I'd probably pick Slayer's South of Heaven though. That was probably the loudest I've ever screamed in my life.
Orion....that's the one with a bunch of power chords and boringly harsh vocals, isn't it?

Sacrificed Sons & In The Name Of God - Dream Theater (PN '09) was pretty epic. So was Harlequin Forest by Opeth the same night.
Zydar is my new hero.  I just laughed so hard I nearly shat.

I just meant, strange in the sense of a band that isn't close to being my favorite possibly having my favorite single song live performance ever (although it is still a tossup; I don't think I could definitively say one).
