Yeah, I'd be up for it, though with work I'm not sure how able I'll be to participate on a weekly basis. Need to get my recording setup working again too.

If someone can find me a site or free program that can convert AVIs into WAVs then I would be more than happy to participate in this again.

No, it's fine. Just shorten the song by ten minutes.

You know, I wouldn't mind bringing this back to life.  I'd make one for this next round if the other previous competitors want to get it going again too.
My submission still stands.

You know what.. I haven't listened to it in months, it probably sounds like crap and you're gonna win like all other rounds anyway.

Edit: Just relistened to my submission...

My vocals are absolute crap. But whatever.

^ listened to the submission

That was really cool.  I've always enjoyed your jazz compositions the most out of your submissions,  Beautiful sax tone, stellar piano playing, and nice compositionally on top of that.  The overall melody structure and feel to it reminded me of a slower, jazzier rendition of Jeff Buckley's "Forget Her," if you're familiar.  Just a bit.  The vocals could use some work, of course, but I do think you have what it takes to develop a voice more than most do.  You've got the pitch, just work on the tone a little more and I think you've got it.  Really strong submission.  And the saxophone solo near the end was awesome, as expected.

Ok, I went ahead and did a new one since I broke the time limit on my last attempt.

I'm not sure what I think of this yet.  I really like the idea, but I had lots of trouble squeezing it in to the time constraints, and as a result it's poorly mixed and there are a few goof-ups that probably should have been fixed.  But overall I think the idea's decent, at least as far as the piano part goes.  I'm thinking more and more that I should leave it without the distorted guitars, so this is definitely one to come back to at a later time.  But anyway, here it is as of right now.

That was epic and atmospheric. Seriously, you did that in one hour?

I'm in awe.

Anyway, we should declare Seth the winner of last round. New round sound?

Even if it's only us three, if other people are willing to at least cast votes that'd be good :)

I'll make a new one, though no guarantees about actually being able to submit.
