I fear what another PPV loss can do to Punk, but he doesn't need the push of an Undertaker win at WM, unless they will throw him back into the title picture.
Joe and I in the same squad is basically the virtual equivalent of us plowing a rape van through an elementary school playground at recess.

Dirtsheets were saying that Taker is up to going down clean for Punk.
Seriously if there is someone that could end the streak without getting backlash, it's Punk.
I imagined the story to go more like this.

I was sitting a traffic light blaring Space Dye Vest and next to me in another car was Kevin Moore. And I'll never be open again.

Well, yes. But why not use that to push someone like Barrett to the main event?

Because Barret is a black hole of charisma.
He needs to do his own thing before even getting close to getting that kind of rub.

Well since Taker is so out of shape now, he better lose to Punk.

Randy Orton would like to have a word with you.

No, but seriously, there's gotta be something better for Barrett to do than to feud with Bo freaking Dallas!

Randy Orton was a former WHC by the time his feud with Taker started. Also his gimmick worked with the streak, the legend killer thing was interesting and if anyone had to end the streak at that time, it should have been Orton, the Gimmick was worked specially to end up with a feud with Taker.

Barret, whats interesting about him?
Uh I guess he is British, yeah that's interesting.
And I guess his bare knuckle fighting background would be interesting if they actually went anywhere with it. Seriously what was the point of those promos if he doesn't even translate his background into the ring?
He wasn't even interesnting during the Nexus, the group was(At least during a brief period before Cena buried them at Summerslam)
Also his finisher is horrible. Chris Hero does it better.

Then why didn't the creative team have Punk WIN one of the PPV matches then? I thought they had the power

Right.  It just shows how little they think ahead, and the fact that they are now scrambling to fast-track the feud shows how ill-prepared they are. :lol :lol

Missed the Old School Raw, would have been nice to see The American Dream Dusty Rhoses, I loved him back in the NWA days, his feuds with the Four Horsemen were legendary. And of course the Honky Tonk Man.

Paul Bearer just passed away. Saw a picture of him recently and looked like he lost a ton of weight.

So did Swagger only get suspended a week or something? How come Orton gets 2 months suspension for using steriods, but Swagger basically gets a slap on the wrist of a DUI and possesion?

Also, good call on the Taker, Punk fued.

Because the WWE has to throw out the occasional suspension to make it look like they are actually testing their wrestlers, when anyone with a brain knows most of them are all still on something.  And Orton didn't have any major feud going at the time last summer when it happened, so it was easy; hell, he probably enjoyed having the two months off. :lol  Very different than Swagger right now, whom they already had booked for the WHC match at Wrestlemania.

Also, you could hear Kane asking if CM Punk was alright during their match last night.

I didn't see any of it last night except the last 10 minutes, but Punk now losing to Kane?  Really?

Also, no Rock last night?  What a shock.  I would ask if is too much to ask him to show up every week to promote his WM main event since he is after all the (paper) champ, but it quite obviously is too much to ask.  :\

He was busy doing more important things, like promoting his new movie, so I don't think he was even in the country at the time (well relative to Raw that is, I think he actually was in my country).
Only King could mis-spell a LETTER.
Yep. I think the only party in the MP/DT situation that hasn't moved on is DTF.

Ah, another one of his forgettable movies that most don't know or care about.  But hey, gotta give Dwayne Johnson credit; he is making a helluva career out of acting in lame movies that make him a bundle of cash. :tup :tup

Ultimately, this is Vince's fault, as he is the one who pays guys like The Rock and Lesnar a ton of cash to be part-time workers (even calling them part-timers is generous).

While I don't like when WWE takes real life events as the King's heart attack and Paul Bearer's death and puts it in angle... this time it's actually to the benefit of the show. This gives the Taker/Punk feud some substance and what he did last night is sure to garner him some nuclear heat, which they've been wanted to give him since Raw 1000th.

Also, I know doing stuff like that is something that's been around for decades and Lawler himself did worse things when he had his own promotion in Memphis but there still needs to be a line!

That has to be circa 2003, Rock mentioned Brock so that has to be leading up to their Summerslam match.

Man, it's great to be one of the guys a company doesn't wanna lose desperately so you can make any demands you want when your contract is up!

Also, Brooke Hogan selling that angle on Twitter is absolutely hilarious!
