Just Finished the TV show Extras. AWESOME.

i've been a fan of ricky gervais for a couple years now. With the uK office and his podcasts and standup. Finally watched Extras and it's so awesome. The ending was the best. Ricky and Stephan have the best writing chemistry around. Anyone else watch it?

Yeah, I watched it through for my second time not long ago.  It's really a great show.  Stephen Merchant was absolutely hilarious in it.  I have a really hard time deciding whether I prefer Extras or The Office.

I could write the exact same post.  I still haven't seen the Extras xmas special(s?) though.  The Office ones are absolutely brilliant.

wonderful, wonderful show. As soon as I finish going through reliving season 1 of Modern Family I'll be moving on to another watching of Extras

Definitely Gervais' best show/film to date, it's so funny. Favourite cameos are probably Patrick Stewart and Daniel Radcliffe. :lol

Bloody love extras. The main characters are all so funny, and the guest celebrities were (in general) hilarious with how they just played along with a persona that had been written for them! Kate winslet was my favourite. Countless funny moments, like "Corbett, its always fucking corbett" and Ben Stiller always banging on about his previous films

Extras was wonderful....too bad it had such a short life.

Just now finished watching the whole series again. What stood out to me this time was that as uniformly hilarious as the two seasons were, the series finale special, while taking an entirely different tone, was equally brilliant. It's gotta be in my top 5 shows of all time.

I briefly debated with myself as to whether or not I should say "You just finished the TV show extras?  That's cool.  For what TV show?" and attempt to turn it into a whole "Who's on first?" kind of thing, but then I realized it would be entirely too much effort and the hilarity of it would be lost on everyone.

Great show, Kate Winslet was one of the best even funnier after she won the Oscar (The Reader) for exactly the performance she said people won Oscars for.
Daniel Radcliffe was also good, but Maggie (I don't know the actress' name) was great alongside Ricky Gervais
I have only seen Seasons one and two so far, but then they released a third in a box set which is pointless when you have the other two, one day I will find it seperate.  :)

A little off topic, but I loved him hosting The Golden Globes.  :)
