Ok, just bought 2 tickets.  I want to take someone who appreciates this kind of music.  The 2 guys I took to the DT/Iron Maiden concert weren't so "hip" on either band really, but I needed bodyguards since I was in the pit...LOL.  Suggestions for the "someone" to take?

I just don't understand what they were trying to achieve with any part of the song, either individually or as a whole. You know what? It's the Platypus of Dream Theater songs. That bill doesn't go with that tail, or that strange little furry body, or those webbed feet, and oh god why does it have venomous spurs!? And then you find out it lays eggs too. The difference is that the Platypus is somehow functional despite being a crazy mishmash or leftover animal pieces

Ok, so I'm looking into this a bit more, cause I'm really aching to go....

So, I checked out train tickets and they are about $60 round trip, eight hours each way (which is fine with me).

If anyone still has spare tickets (and might be able to pick me up at the LB station :)), then there is a 60% chance I'll take 'em.
