I thought it was one of the worst.  Just a mess, really, and really rushed.  Very broad, not particularly funny.
You just described Pillows and Blankets for me. I have big problems with that episode.

But anyways I like it a lot for a set-up episode. Besides the RCT callback and also Starburns Lawyer being one armed... Like jeff in the evil timeline.
I imagined the story to go more like this.

I was sitting a traffic light blaring Space Dye Vest and next to me in another car was Kevin Moore. And I'll never be open again.

It definitely felt rushed, but I still loved it.

The episode was all right.  Loved the callback to Remedial Chaos Theory, "hang on I have to get an outfit," and "You know I thought you were smarter than me when we first met." :lol

Hmm.  I thought that the intro banter was the best in a long time and very promising.  (I was hoping for another one of the strong but tame episodes we saw in S1 primarily)  Things got out of hand quickly, though.  The whole Chang thing is really not doing it for me.  I miss the days when he was a somewhat realistic deranged community college professor.

Chang was never realistic, not even somewhat.  His over-the-top intro solidified him as being 'television crazy.'

Now, don't get me wrong, he has become more deranged since then, but I also think most of the best Chang moments have come after he stopped being a professor.

NO. FUCKING. WAY.

The only funny moments with Chang during S2 were during D&D and when he was on top of the shelf during the after-break episode ohhh and the Racist prover thing.

Nothing can beat S1 Chang.
Matador Chang.
Tiny piece of paper.
Princess Gringa.
San valentines Chang.
Chang's Rap.

And so and so on.

Chang as a security officer is definitely....not great.

Also yea, new episode was very fast and I thought that whole "I LOST MY SUMMER" or whatever thing was horrible and completely out of character for Jeff. In fact Jeff was for the most part written terribly in that episode. It was essentially taking all of the characters from Community and turning them into caricatures of themselves.

Chang was definitely better when he was just a bit crazy, but still grounded.

The most recent episode felt like they tried to fit way too much into 21 minutes. It was also a bit too 'out there' for a non-theme episode (theme episodes being ones like Paintball, Law & Order, etc, and I would count ones like the recent dreamatorium episode).

They should also cut back a little bit on the Dean and his outfits too. Jim Rash is awesome, but it's getting to be a bit much. The one a few weeks ago where he realized he had gone too far seemed like the perfect cap to that joke. The joke this week was funny on its own, but in the scheme of things, may be overdoing it a bit.

That said, this episode was still okay. The show has just set a very high standard for itself. For the most part, this season has been great, and the first two seasons are amazing.

I knew I'd get shit for that.

Whenever I think of the good parts of Community, I never think of Chang.  He has flashes of brilliance here and there, but overall, he's best used occasionally.  Security Guard Change hasn't been very good though, but him tasering Britta in Geography of Global Conflict was pretty funny.

It almost seemed from the way the season was winding down they were bringing the show to its conclusion. I'm glad that isn't the case.

Going to watch the last 3 episodes online soon. However, can anyone tell me what the correct order is? The website changed them and now I'm not sure what the order is. I assume the finality one is the last, but is Chang Dynasty first or is Digital Estate Planning?

Digital Estate Planning -> Chang Dynasty -> Finality

Awesome thanks, that's the order listed now. But just a day or two ago it listed it as Chang Dynasty > Finality > Digital Estate Planning, so I got a bit confused. But I appreciate the help.

Yeah that fucking blows, I just finished the season and absolutely loved the last three episodes. All fantastic, especially the video game one, that just had me in stitches the entire episode. Meh...I'm afraid that's it for this one lest they can somehow keep the heart and love that the others put into this show, it had so much charisma and wit that I just can't see some newcomers bringing the same feeling to the show. Whatevs. TV. It's all bullshit.

Yup. At least the season ended on a somewhat closing note if season 4 does end up sucking.

But still, FUCKFUCKFUCKFUCKFUCK

I was actually pretty shocked by how season threes finale seemed like a series finale. Like....I would have been fine with the show ending right then and there.

It's amazing just how blindingly stupid the higherups are. Why bother renewing the show if you're going to get rid of the people responsible for basically everything viewers like about the show?

I don't think I could bear to see the show get watered down in the way that I'm afraid it might be.  Better to die young and healthy.  Still got my fingers crossed for it not being shit, of course, but goddammit.

I thought all three of the final episodes were on the weak side.  :-\

I really wish they would do "normal" episodes more often.  And it would be nice to have Season 1 quality episodes right now while they're under the gun.

Ohh Harmon... He was doing a lot of bad things while running the show, and the thing with Chevy was icing on the cake. So I was actually kind of okay with Harmon being fired as long as the Russos where in charge of the show.
But losing The Russos, Mckenna, Dino and possibly Megan Ganz its way too much.
I just hope the show keeps the same quality and heart with this new season.
I imagined the story to go more like this.

Yeah its really weak how they've renewed it, but took out so many important people (though Donovan was apparently by choice).  I'll give season 4 a chance, but it might as well have been cancelled :/
