Anyone see the video of the guy hitting himself in the face with another guy's.  Funniest shit ever.  Can't link to it from here, but it's on Youtube. Don't know how old it is either, so forgive me if you all have seen it.

Woah! I stopped watching at half-time, it was a good match but United were looking much stronger, surprised it turned around! This keeps things very open in the league, although United still definitely have the edge IMO.

I saw it on the TV at the local pub on ESPN's failures of the year, and literally spit beer.

The next game(s) with Brown in our defense?  ;)
Yeah right.
I'm counting the next game ('Pool away) as a loss/draw at best, which means that when Arsenal beats Sunderland the difference will be 2 points.
Even if United draws against Arsenal on Emirates, United still has another game against Chelsea, and an overall tougher schedule. :P

Yeah, but Aresnal are bound to lose to someone terrible at some point, like we always do. :P

Good point about Brown though. How long is Vidic's suspension? I'm assuming not that long as it was a double yellow rather than a straight red.

Think it's just against Pool, but that was a game we could have won, but instead might loose.
I kinda suffer with Arsenal though, always unlucky with injuries. :/

I really hope UEFA will do something about shitty referees.
Wouldn't surprise me if Barca use all their Unicef-shit to get the referees on their side, the red card and the penalty was a disgrace, the only one who saw them was the referee.

Now that's just being butt-sore (even so, Barca's new sponsor is Qatar Foundation).

It's just kinda sad to see a game going down that way.
Do I imply that Barcelona didn't deserve to advance? Certainly not, they were better yesterday.
However, the way that they advanced... they had like 19 goal-chances or something? But still they needed the referee to throw them a very very easy penalty, and a red card that was probably the lamest I have ever seen.
I really feel for RVP, how the hell is he supposed to hear the whistle when there's 90 000 pigs screaming "Messi, our messiah" (in spanish probs), and it made it even more funny when the shot came about 1 second after the whistle, not like it was intentional.
Just look at his face afterwards, his reaction was pretty much: "awh, bad shot" not "awh f*cking offside". :P

I really hope Barcelona gets out in the next round, their whole mentality was summed up when they got the penalty, and Xavi ran up to Pedro with a look on his face saying: "Nice diving bro, we got this".

Funny thing is even with the bazillion referees they have on the field everyone missed Abidal's grab which should have obviously resulted in a card. Which then resulted on RVP boiling over and Alves managing to fish him the first yellow by blatantly running in front of him.

Granted with the shot total being 17-0 and Barca creating two really sweet goals the right team won no matter how many Barca-haters shout the opposite. Yeah the penalty was lightly given but with 45mins left on the clock and playing 10-9 (they were dominating 10-10 in a pretty similar fashion) they would've eventually scored the winning goal anyway.

I've been dreading the game tonight since the 0-0 result 3 weeks ago.
It really feels like Man U didn't get a good result at all, and I've had nightmares about Marseille taking the lead on Old Trafford (with a bit of luck), then we'll see a 10 defenders-strategy, where Man U only manages to get 1 goal in, resulting in Marseille = winners.

As a Man U-fan I should be positive, but yeah, let's see how the game plays out.  :P

Well Manchester qualified very easily (Chicharito - yeah!).

Bayern - Inter was epic, but I give a major  to Bayern for missing so many chances and falling apart and when they were practically qualified. Incredible.

Bayern sucks so much it's not funny. Laughable defense. WHAT DO YOU DO WHEN YOU ARE TYING IN YOUR OWN PLACE AND THAT RESULT BENEFITS YOU? Oh, nothing. Allow Inter to keep playing the way it has in the second-half and expect nothing to go wrong.

Great to see Man United go through, but if they have to continue playing with Brown in the defense, they might as well give away the titles.
The only thing he did 'good' last night was scoring a goal, but obviously in the wrong one.

Been reading a lot today about stuff being said after the game, from both Barcelona-fans and the rest, which combined with how the game looked last night makes me kinda frustrated.
It's really no news that Barcelona is the holy team from heaven, sent down to show the rest of the football clubs how to play the game.
The media manages to praise Barcelona to a whole new level, the players are godlike, especially Messi, don't even get me started on Messi.
Sure, he's a great football player, but I feel like it's ridiculous how it's IMPOSSIBLE for him to get a yellow card, no matter what shit he pulls on the field. (like kicking the ball towards the Real-fans, or doing a clumsy tackle)
Last night there was a situation where he should have gotten a yellow card, but he just blinked with his eye and gave the referee a thumbs up, and that was the end of that.
You could literally SEE Messi's lips forming the words: "They'll never know".
Another player that annoys the hell out of me is Xavi, probably the most arrogant and biggest jerk of a football player that you can find.
EVERY time there has been a game, Xavi always HAS to make some idiotic comment, yesterday's game was "A victory for football", when they defeated Arsenal he said "the red card didn't change the outlook of the game".
Mario Balotelli comes off as being intelligent in comparison.

I know there are a few people here who loves Barcelona, my biggest question.. aren't you guys ashamed of your players?
I'm not talking about the 'offensive a-la-barca'-playingstyle, I'm talking about how all the players take a dive as soon as they feel wind in their neck, in many cases it's a player getting a touch on the foot, then 30 seconds later rolling around holding their hands before their faces.
I'm not going to defend Real, because obviously they have a few players like this as well, so does most teams, but with Barcelona it's really all of the team.
The whole 'diving in every situation' is stupid, and the players are pretty much crying like they got their legs broken, to follow that up 20 seconds later with running at max pace.
Let's not forget the other Barcelona-strategy, that every time a player goes down, all of the team has to run up to the judge, and beg for cards.
It's funny because Valdes is always the first player to come up to the judge, even if the incident occurred all over the field at the opponent's penalty-box.
SERIOUSLY.. Get the fuck back to your own goal and mind your own business.

And in the next sentence I'm not talking about how these players are as football players (quality-wise) but instead sportsmanship and such, players like: Valdes, Dani Alves, Busquets, Xavi, Iniesta, Villa, Pedro and Messi stands for everything that's wrong with this world.
Seriously.

There, finally let some steam off.

I hate Real Mad almost as much as i hate Farca and all their bandwaggoners(Both teams)
But holy fuck I have NEVER EVER SEE so much praise for a dirty cheating team(Fucking Pedro and Alvez I'm looking at you 2)
I agre with you Zantera, the whole Messi thing is getting on my nerves, I hate diving and looks like thats the only good thing Farca does, let's review Farca "Real Beautiful Football" playing:

Playing against a strong team(CL)
PASS, PASS, PASS (During 60m minutes)
DIVES DIVES.
PULL A DIVE, GET SOMEONE FROM THE OTHER TEAM A RED CARD.
PASS THE BALL TO MESSI
GOAL.

Against THE SHIT TIER LA LIGA TEAMS.
Just pass the ball to Messi.

...
I MAD.
I imagined the story to go more like this.

I'm cheering for Man U, so it looks like they'll meet Barca in the final.
I know, and many others know that Man U has a very high chance of beating Barcelona, probably even higher then the game ending the other way around, but looking at Barca's history with referee's giving them weird advantages, I'm counting the final a loss beforehand.
