And there isn't too much of an interest in OSTs, but a few years ago there was no interest in Eisley or Indie music in general on the forum, and now look at us.    Plus, there's nothing in the original post excluding them.

Hmm, two things I notice with my list:

1. I feel like Man Alive should be higher. This album is just ridiculously good.

2. Strangely, there is a lack of metal releases on that list... It's weird because this year has been fantastic for metal IMO. In fact, this has been a great year for music in general. I could've done a top 25 list easily.

I'm not surprised to be the only one voting for the Classic Crime, but I am surprised that nobody else had Vanden Plas on their list.  It only made mine because I didn't have very many albums for the year...but I figured someone else must've liked it more than I did.

And I'm really surprised that Static Impulse is leading the pack.  I thought it was good and all, but not #1 material.  Maybe since it's a DT side-project it has the advantage of a majority of DTFers picking it up.  Lunatic Soul seems to be suffering from the opposite phenomenon.
