What album have you listened the most in your lifetime?

The discussion of the whole greatest concept albums and Green Day being on there made me wanna listen to GD... so I through on International Super Hits and realized that I have listened to this album (yes its a compilation but what ever) more than anything else. Ever. When I was younger, the only three CDs I owned were: Meteora (Linkin Park), International Super Hits, and Queen's Greatest Hits Hollywood Edition, and I listened to I.S. all day every day for a long time...


so with that being said, what albums have you listened to the most?

I just don't understand what they were trying to achieve with any part of the song, either individually or as a whole. You know what? It's the Platypus of Dream Theater songs. That bill doesn't go with that tail, or that strange little furry body, or those webbed feet, and oh god why does it have venomous spurs!? And then you find out it lays eggs too. The difference is that the Platypus is somehow functional despite being a crazy mishmash or leftover animal pieces

Rush - Vapor Trails (one of the first Rush CDs I've owned, played the HECK out of it)
Transatlantic - Bridge Across Forever, The Whirlwind
Spock's Beard - Snow
The Flower Kings - Unfold The Future, Paradox Hotel
Marillion - Marbles
Dream Theater - Six Degrees Of Inner Turbulence, Octavarium
Porcupine Tree - Fear Of A Blank Planet/Nil Recurring

Just some of the ones off the top of my head right now, and these all are high up there (especially on my iPod play count).

Even though I have not listened to it in ages, Scenes from a Memory is probably up there. I had it in my car everywhere I went all throughout high school.

Remedy Lane is probably up there as well.

A rough list probably looks like:
Nevermore - This Godless Endeavor
Iron Maiden - Somewhere in Time
Iron Maiden - Powerslave
Iron Maiden - Killers
Slayer - Reign in Blood
System of a Down - Mezmerize and Hypnotize
Rob Zombie - Hellbilly Deluxe


Iron Maiden being my all time most listened to artist. I've been listening to them since before I can remember (raised on Maiden, Styx and Metallica).

Probably System of a Down - Toxicity. I got that album back when I was 13 or 14, and I literally listened to nothing else for 3-4 months straight. I listened to it in full multiple times every single day.

Tough question. If we are talking about front to back, and not going by how many songs are on there, it would have to be one of the following:
Fleetwood Mac - Rumours
Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here

But if you just mean by total play count, then probably Rumours, Tusk, Moving Pictures, and Scenes from a Memory. Last.fm also says that "The Miracle" by Queen is up there, which I find to be kind of odd since I'm kind of indifferent towards that album.  :lol

Well I was a teenager in the 80s and those albums I've had longer than most!
And there was nothing wrong with Bat back in the day. It's worn out now of course but the title track is one awesome song.
Thought of another, UFO's strangers In the Night.

There really aren't a whole lot of albums that I'll listen to beginning to end.

Scenes from a Memory, The Cologne Concert and Toxicity would be the top three off the top of my head.

But I'd say more than any of those bar Scenes, my most listened to tracks ever would be a list of Metallica tracks I had on a mixed tape at one point. It was Wherever I May Roam and an assortment of songs from Ride/MoP/Justice.

And if we were adding up multiple versions of the same song, there are a ton of DMB songs that would have so many listens, I wouldn't even like to guess.
