Why are you sorry, Ytse?
Everyone has their own opinions. In my experience it's the pre-pubescent ones (or mentally deficient) that get their panties in a wad and go all "your opinion isn't mine/you dislike what I like!". No worries, you like what you like. I really loved the vocals on Juggernaut as well. I do however love Spencer's growls though and was pining for some more of their brutality.
I was surprised to see I got both of what I said earlier. The single is out on iTunes and on Apple Music and they've got the full album up for pre-order. I'm waiting a week to get the CD but I'm going to hop on this shit real quick. Might as well have both with a band like this, throwing out all the support I can. In the meantime...
I loved it. Like others said, it's more or less by-the-numbers Periphery but not at all in regards to their recent work, this is back to the roots, and I loved it. It still felt fresh and I loved the hooks but it was definitely more PI than anything. I'm excited to hear more and the titles of the songs look interesting. Obviously nothing to gleam there but they're definitely not usual Periphery affair, they're all very different from any names before despite this single sounding very typical. Again, not a bad thing to me anyway. We already know though from the teasers that this is absolutely not going to be a one-track-mind album. That alone is exciting after hearing this very hardcore track; I'm going to love the jumps and dives.
