It's hard to pick the best Periphery song though. The good way to put it is that they have a lot of solid songs; the bad way is that they all kinda sound similar  :P I love Periphery though. Totla Mad + Ow My Feelings :heart

Considering Frak The Gods is one of the only songs written as an actual song and not an instrumental with vocals recorded over it, I think the next album is gonna blow the first one away.

Well I'm suprised. I assumed it was new because it was on the EP and sounds so good with Spencer. Well my point still stands about the new album.

Don't forget Light, either. Spencer sounds so DAMN GOOD on the choruses in that song, especially the second one.

Also obligatory lol @ their recent studio updates. So much confusion on my end from their randomness.

If anyone is bored, it has been fun and entertaining reading the Periphery thread on this site. Misha (bulb) comes in and interacts with the members too.

Damn, I'm so excited about the new albums. Their S/T really set the bar high, so I'm kinda afraid their new releases won't keep up with it.

These guys came up on one of my Pandora stations. Sounded like Animals as Leaders with annoying teen rage vocals. I guess, I'll just listen to Animals as Leaders. Music was cool though.

reason why it sounds like AAL is because the guitar player from periphery helped produce AAL's first record and 'Wave of Babies'. He also programmed the drums and wrote alot of riffs

Periphery on Summer Slaughter with Between The Buried and Me. I think this is the cherry on top of the concert..

If you want a laugh, read the Facebook page for metalheads crying about it not being brutal enough.

I saw the karaoke video on Facebook last night and about busted a gut at it. That's fucking hilarious.

Watching the interview. Will they both be released close to each other, or like several months between? I've found very little news about the new albums, if they will be out before summer, that leaves only a month. (I count June as summer)

i don't see the second album coming out this year unfortunately. unless they record it after summer slaughter which doesn't seem plausible cause they just finished the first

Maybe they'll record it before Summer Slaughter. Misha has stated on numerous occasions that Juggernaut is almost completed.
