Ladies and gents, we have our first taste of Periphery III vocals a studio preview of Spencer has been posted on instagram.

It's hella agressive and I like it.  :heart Love the constant harsh/clean transitions mid-sentence, reminds me of The Bad Thing.

PIII ended up being a bit heavbier than I thought it would be.

I have a feeling this album will be in the veins of PI rather than PII. And that's making me fucking stoked.  :metal

Between this and Affinity I'm super pumped. I think I'm gonna end up liking both more than the new DT album and that's saying something.
I feel strangely honored to be following up a post from Sir Walrus Cauliflower.

I am very excited.

I'm a bit sad about Nolly not being a touring member anymore though.

Didn't really follow up on the updates, but wow nice surprise.

It's also Periphery III which is cool as it signifies Juggernaut as its own idenitity as a concept album.

I thought that was cool as well, Ben. Had no idea it was meant to be that way and was uber confused when this was originally announced as PIII in the making.  :lol

I am so fucking excited for this. Periphery really quickly became one of my top favorite bands when I got into them a couple years ago (or maybe less, memory be fucked). I'm really interested in seeing what this album brings. Cool artwork too, I'm glad they're sticking with that supremely simple art but it works so well. Just changing up the pallet is interesting.

If it's true, then that sucks a lot. Nolly is my probably my favourite member in Periphery.

I agree about the art. I like how they never got really crazy with it. I really like the logo and just changing up the colors and background really works for this band it seems.

This one looks way 'calmer' for lack of a better word, might reflect the direction of the music with a more atmospheric sound, but I doubt it will really stray away from their original sound since it's part of the self-titled series. And they don't seem to plan to change everything up anyways which is good.

I'm just waiting for a green logo album. They've had blue twice, red twice, and now orange (red-ish).

I hope it is.

I think I remember Misha saying that this album turned out darker than he expected, so I don't think so.

I wonder if they'll bring back Jeff Holcomb(Mark's brother)

Apparently this is the cover art:

I think it's awesome. Looks a bit similar in style to Haken's Affinity cover art, which was also really cool.

That snippet is a bit too short to get my hopes up or anything. I can't wait though!
The cover art looks pretty good, definitely better than PII, but PI and Juggernaut have covers that are hard to beat.

OoOoOo noiiiice! I like that one even more than the one I thought it was. It does seem more album-cover-y than the last pic. Still has that sunset feel but it's more broken up. Mainly I like the cool shapes.  :lol

I'm ready. I'm just ready for some new music now.

That's a great cover. A minimalistic approach done right. Affinity's cover has grown on me, I used to think it was a bit gimmicky.

I agree that it is a bit gimmicky, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. When it fits the mood and theme of the music that well it works for me.

New teaser sounds amazing, love the orchestral stuff and it's more laid back than the first (also fits with the blue theme instead of the orange that they had for the first, I like that detail). 5 days! Dayyuuuum! So excitebike.
