Those samples sound awesome... I mean, the quality isn't the greatest but that will be a whole different story when we get the album. Stoked.
I only listen to electro-post dubprog.  You've probably never heard of it.

I am a tiny bit bummed about the lack of long songs. I know it's not reasonable to expect a Racecar on every album, but those long ones are usually the ones I like the most.

they didnt want to force a song to be long just cause racecar was well-liked

And they shouldn't, it's the right decision. But it would be cool with a naturaly written long one.

Music in the album trailer is merely ok.  Didn't like the intro at all.

If they follow through with their claims for the next album (concept album), hopefully you'll be pretty pleased!

"Make Total Destroy" is much better.

i think digital century media picked up the rights to Periphery II right as roadrunner was dissolving. I think they said UK will get the album digitally July 3, but physically 2 weeks later. not sure about the rest of europe

This is bumming me out. Sure it's over a month until the album comes out, but the US had a pre-order for a week or two now. I just want to pre-order my stuff. :P

Very excited for the new song, will be interesting.

Over a month? Isn't it just half a month left?

The only release dates I've heard are July 2 for the digital one and July 17 for the physical. Might be wrong. Still, that would make it even worse to not have a pre-order yet. :D

The Dutch iTunes store has 1:30 samples. Everything sounds amazing. It's going to be rough waiting this long.

yeah I know, so what if the man's influences shine through a little bit? his voice is still his voice and it sounds unmistakably like Periphery.

also, Facepalm Mute is awesome.

Yea, some people are just crazy when it comes to Spencer's vocals or Periphery having vocals, in general. It's ridiculous.

An official youtube video was posted by Sumerian for the new song "Scarlet."

The song is as awesome as the Haunted Shores recording and Spencer adds even more awesome to it with his vocals, which are unbelievable. I'm even more excited for this album now.

From what I understand, there are European pre-orders up now. I think I remember seeing Periphery post something about it.

You're right actually. Totally missed that. :)

Ordered the T-Shirt and the Limited CD. Too bad the price runs away with shipping and taxes. :(

Yea, I agree with you there. I think I paid close to $17 in shipping in the USA. That's ridiculous. It's a good thing I really love Periphery, otherwise I'd pass on the CD based on the ridiculousness of the shipping alone.
