Apparently this is the cover art:

I think it's awesome. Looks a bit similar in style to Haken's Affinity cover art, which was also really cool.

It reminds me of Metal Gear Solid. Something about it conjures up images of Grey Fox.

One more day! Ooooooo I really hope it's a single. I'd be flabbergasted at this point. You don't count down anything else after you've announced the album, really. Maybe a full press release but I'd expect a single along with that. I'd love track names though.

I'm thinking a new single too, hype!

And honestly I think those teasers are terrible, I thought it was going to be a one time thing but they keep releasing more of them.

Yeah. Kinda killing the hype for me to be honest.

Maybe tommorow we just get a teaser that's 1 minute long and not ten seconds  :lol

And it's pretty fucking awesome! Arguably one of the heaviest Periphery songs of their entire discography, definitely feels like they took some elements from P1.

definitely feels like they took some elements from P1.

And that's a good thing because that album is kickass
0:45 - 1:02 blew my mind, but the rest of the song is kinda average for Periphery standards. The solo in the second part of the song is probably one of Periphery's best though. Might grow on me after a few listens.

It's a leak, I'm gonna wait for the official thing.

Because there is totally a difference between listening to a leak on youtube and the real release that is going to be there in half a day.

I'll listen when I get home from work, hopefully an official link is up by then.  I'm not a fan of listening to leaks first either.

Slipknot influence well worn in this song. Not bad, usual Periphery style, still pretty good. I like the stuff at the end.

I really liked Spencer's more vocalised approach on Alpha/Omega but this was just screaming so I didn't like it. Sorry. Hoping more melodical stuff for rest of the album.

I liked it. It's just a single though, so as almost always it's not very special. But I like it.

Why are you sorry, Ytse?  :lol Everyone has their own opinions. In my experience it's the pre-pubescent ones (or mentally deficient) that get their panties in a wad and go all "your opinion isn't mine/you dislike what I like!". No worries, you like what you like. I really loved the vocals on Juggernaut as well. I do however love Spencer's growls though and was pining for some more of their brutality.

I was surprised to see I got both of what I said earlier. The single is out on iTunes and on Apple Music and they've got the full album up for pre-order. I'm waiting a week to get the CD but I'm going to hop on this shit real quick. Might as well have both with a band like this, throwing out all the support I can. In the meantime...

I loved it. Like others said, it's more or less by-the-numbers Periphery but not at all in regards to their recent work, this is back to the roots, and I loved it. It still felt fresh and I loved the hooks but it was definitely more PI than anything. I'm excited to hear more and the titles of the songs look interesting. Obviously nothing to gleam there but they're definitely not usual Periphery affair, they're all very different from any names before despite this single sounding very typical. Again, not a bad thing to me anyway. We already know though from the teasers that this is absolutely not going to be a one-track-mind album. That alone is exciting after hearing this very hardcore track; I'm going to love the jumps and dives.

Loving this song man.. love the Slipknot influence too.

I'd love track names though.
I'm excited to hear more and the titles of the songs look interesting.

Since they hadn't been posted here yet and they're up on spotify and you seem to have found them too, I'll post them here:

1. The Price Is Wrong - 3:57
2. Motormouth - 4:50
3. Marigold - 7:20
4. The Way The News Goes... - 5:04
5. Remain Indoors - 6:10
6. Habitual Line-Stepper - 6:52
7. Flatline - 5:50
8. Absolomb - 7:44
9. Catch Fire - 3:53
10. Prayer Position - 4:36
11. Lune - 7:47

Lots of long songs for Periphery standards here, I mean, there's no Omega or Racecar, but 7 minutes+ is not something we see often from these guys, interesting. And like Tio said, some cool unusual track titles.

Official release

That's a dud link.

Works for me. Mine is just the song on the Periphery Youtube channel, yours is the lyric video on Sumerian. They both work though.

The screaming/vocals don't bother me here in the least. The nice little guitar solo definitely helps the song along and keeps it from being complete DJENT through. I have more issue with the lyrics than anything... not that I expect some grandiose thing but seems a bit jumbled. Pretty good overall.

Ahh, gotcha. Heh!  :tup

I'm liking the song more and more, especially with the lyrical video. The guys are so laid back and all around goofy yet write this awesome music; it's a great combination. It's also nice that, even though I can understand a good bit of what Spencer says while singing, knowing all the lyrics adds to my enjoyment. They don't have the deepest or most intricately woven lyrics, but it's nice to have something that isn't some fucking novel or a scientific theory hidden in the lyrics, given a lot of the bands I listen to. I like that about the band because for the most part they seem to write about experiences in their life (I just about lost it when I found out what Mile Zero was about given how much I loved the song already) and build from that whether it's ridiculousness, seriousness or something in between. Really great stuff, I haven't been this excited about any album for a while.

Maybe a region thing? It looked fine to me, I'm in the US for the record.

One looks like it's the band's page and the other is the label's. Either way I'd say the lyric one is superior if only for the fact that it has lyrics and Misha thanked the fans in the comments on there. Another aspect I really like about the dude. Very down to Earth and interacts with the people that support him.

Must be, though I was under the impression that it says that it isn't available in my region when that happens.

tbh that blew me away, the fact that the musician of a band actually communicates with people that openly. You don't see that often.

The whole band kept trolling the All Things Periphery facebook group the week prior.

They all (except Nolly) post there fairly regularly.
