Listening to Frames for the first time as a whole. I think so, anyway...Grooveshark has 7 tracks for it.

I like it. I'm sure it'll grow on me with subsequent listens.

It has 8 songs, or 9 depending on which version you have, seeing as "Voorhees" is a bonus track. (or a B-side if you will)
So Grooveshark is still missing one then. ;)

Ornament/The Last Wrongs
Music For A Nurse
You Can't Keep A Bad Man Down
New Pin
Homage To A Shame
Mine Host
Heaven Alive
The Charm Offensive
Meredith
No Tomorrow

I'm the only one who likes You Can't Keep A Bad Man Down, huh?  :-\

Oh and I like every song a lot... No Tomorrow's just ruined by a crappy first half, even though the second half would rank up with the best of their stuff on its own.

You Can't Keep a Bad Man Down is fantastic, the only 'negative' thing I can say about it is that maybe it drags just a little bit.
Around the part where it kinda slows down like the song is about to end, but then continues for another minute or so, that minute could've been skipped PERHAPS.
I still really dig the song though.  :hefdaddy

I found out yesterday that Grooveshark has a "See More" feature when searching for songs, so it probably does have all 8 songs.

Maybe the track that was missing was Sleeping Dogs because Grooveshark knows how bad that one is in comparison to the rest.

Sleeping Dogs is actually my 4th most scrobbled 'Size song on lastfm.
It's a really fantastic song that shouldn't be getting any hate whatsoever, simply amazing tune.

Yes but The Frame, Trail of Fire, Unfamiliar, Commemorative T-shirt, Savant, Only Twin, Old Friend and Voorhees are all better

I agree with the notion of Sleeping Dogs being a weak track.  The vocals really don't work on that one.

It's hard ranking some of the individual songs against each other, however I do feel like Sleeping Dogs is rather important for the flow and Frames as a whole.
It just works perfectly between AOFOTC's and The Frame, take it away and that fantastic dynamic would be gone.

I'm not saying it's one of their best songs, but Frames really wouldn't be the same without it.

You're actually very right, come to think of it. Old Friends into Sleeping Dogs into The Frame is pretty amazing

I just listened to Self-Preserved for the first time. My first impression: pretty unremarkable, but I'll give it repeated listens to let it sink in.

The only version of Frames that has Voorhees on it is the deluxe-version or whatever, but if you're listening to it on grooveshark then it probably has all the songs.  :tup

Ravenheart @ Fantastic album, pretty much the album that got me into the band, and I still love it for that reason.  :heart

it was Commemorative 9/11 T-Shirt, I guess they censored the title before they released it like they did with Build Us A Rocket... because they're PUSSIES.

Mike Vennart states that "Commemorative ____ T-Shirt" - originally entitled "Commemorative 9/11 T-Shirt" - doesn't have "anything to do with 9/11. I was sold a t-shirt by the singer of the Cardiacs. On the label it read 'For ages 9-11', and when he sold it to me he said "oh, here's one of our commemorative 9/11 teeshirts," so I got thinking about what sort of person would wear a 9/11 teeshirt. Someone who's not really looking to the future.[8]

This. It's still "Commemorative ____ T-Shirt" though, and should be called that.
