Ryan and Mootles should just accept their differences and have make up sex in this thread.

Yeah but PT's first 4 are amongst their best, Signify and UtD at least.

Well, Signify is their best, UtD their third best, with FOABP coming in as nr2.
But old PT feels like a somewhat different style, newer PT is more similar to Oceansize, even though it's two very different bands.
But I'd take Oceansize's albums over PT's modern albums any day, IA and DW has nothing on Effloresce and Everyone Into Position.

Ok that is just plain funny, I'm sorry. I mean, Oceansize makes great albums, but comes nowhere near PT imo.

Well, EP's are part of discographies.
Just because you haven't heard them doesn't mean they don't exist. ;)

Anyhow, things worth pointing out with my ranking is that Nil Recurring isn't far behind Home & Minor, though Futile is quite a bit below Nil Recurring.
Album-wise, Signify, FOABP and UTD aren't much behind Everyone Into Position, though there's a gap after those 3 PT-albums.

How is the new album?
Been meaning to check it out, only album i've heard before is Frames, which didn't really impress me.
I like the opening-track on it, but after that it's fairly bland IMO.
Also heard a few tracks from Effloresce which i liked better, but nothing too memorable.

No offense to anyone liking the band or so, but my opinion about them this far is that they're a decent progressive-band, but i would put them under the B-category.
Maybe things will change if i listen to their albums even more, so thats a bit why i wonder. :P
I've already given up on Frames after about 15 plays, and only 1 memorable song.

Quad's signature brought me to this post.

All I have to say is

There's nothing lol about it really.
The first time I heard Frames was like 3-4 years ago, during a time-period when I listened to pretty much only metal-music, I hadn't even heard PT back then.
I spinned it twice, it didn't click (surprisingly), and that was the 'attitude' I brought into this thread when their last album came out.

Needless to say, people can be wrong, even myself.  ;)

Not more lol then letters saying things like "Trains is the best song ever" and then voting Trains in the first round of the IA-survivor.
That's pretty much more amount of fail right there. ;)
