Edit: One could have something like a different mode for every song, in different keys.

How long should the song be? Should I be ready to record on spot? etc etc.. time zone crap. 36-48 hours is a good timeframe for a 5 min composition - or longer.

+ What instruments do we use. Are we allowed to mix, do we have to play all our isntruments on our own, does it have to be gtr/piano.. etc

What i'm saying is I need more info, but I'm probably going to contest whatever the conditions are.

Yeah sure I can get along with that. Worst part of that is ppl with better their recording stuff in their computers will have an advantage. Ah well. What if I wanna write a tune on the saxophone and I want like a piano backing me... stuff like that bugs me - just the sax would suck a lil, and I'm not nearly as skilled on the guitar or the piano as on the sax (even though I'm pretty good on those too).
