Sorry, no. Most of it is perfect and its one of the songs which turned me a fan but the full circle part is tedious and the lyrical content in it is cringe worthy and laughable. What the fuck lyrics made from other bands songs?

Lyrics don't have to be any certain way. They don't have to make sense or anything.

As long as they show some degree of creativity and have a vocal melody behind them, they're fine.

I still like the full circle section.  Its kind of a gimmick, but I'm a sucker for it, I guess.  I love that part, and the song is perfect from start to finish.  The album is pretty good too.

While I agree with you, that part sounds patched up to me compared to the rest of the song melodies. Personally I don't care what the fans think about the latest DT lyrics (TCOT is fine by me) but some of them cut out some enjoyment of the song itself.

Yeah, not liking that is understandable. It is sort of silly in a sense. But I enjoy it.

Full Circle is probably my favourite part of the song. Who cares if they made lyrics composed of mashing together titles of various old songs / bands / other things? It may not be the usual way of doing things, but it works well.

When the song switches into gear at 8:49 (thank you Myung for that brilliant part) it's musical perfection.
Also, the Moog solo is what Rudess needs to do more often.

Greatest song with the greatest buildup with by far the greatest climax ever.
Used by Pain of Salvation coming in at number two for best climax

I seriously love every single thing about this song. I love it so much I actually force myself to only listen to it twice a year. I mean, dat bass solo, dat melody chord progression, dat jingle bells quote with the last chord a half step down, dat extra eighth note the second time he yells dat line, etc.

back when it was the newest album, i would not listen to anything after listening to the title track. kind of 'taking it all in kind' of thing. Did that with Close to the Edge too.

nowadays i dont care, though i only throw it on once, twice (and maybe 3) times a year, due to its awesomeness!

Intervals is my favorite "section" of music ever. I just love the intensity and release the whole album has built up to that point, and its execution is flawless (really, could not be more perfect).

the song is a masterpiece and i think what really got me to like dream theater. also i think the whole album in general is my 2nd or 3rd favorite dream theater album

When I began listening to DT, it was probably my fav song. Then I started going through their entire discography and come to find out there were even better songs.
